Did anyone make 150k in the last PVE event?

I really wanted that Magneto cover, but it didn't seem like it was even possible. It was super frustrating because I came in first place in a few of the sub events, averaged top 10 in the rest of them, and I was still 25,000 points short. I don't really know how the scoring works. Was this just bad luck with the opponents in my brackets or did no one have a chance?

The game is driving me nuts. In PVP, every single team in my bracket is 100 levels higher than mine. I would have to play like crazy and spend hundreds of HP on shields just to finish in the top 50. Two people in my 20 person alliance haven't played in weeks and we can't kick them, so we aren't finishing in the top 100 in anything anymore. Every single random cover of the 120+ I have gotten in the past month are all two star characters. It felt like the one thing that I could actually control and use to improve my team would be the 150k Magneto cover from the PVE event and it looks like it wasn't even possible to attain.

It's possible someone might have, the winner in my bracket was at about 144K so at least a few people got pretty close.

I do not think someone reached 150k.
At looked at a lot of top 10 alliances, and never see someone above 145k.

It is very comon in this game that last progression reward in PVE is not attainable. This time, it was closer than a lot of previous times.

For your alliance, I think you can contact the support to remove the commander rights to people no longer playing.

100 levels higher? That seems very exagerated...

I'm pretty sure it was reachable if you grinded enough and cleared all your missions every 2.5 hours. Now, whether anyone actually did, that's a different issue.

Not with the boosted Daken. My Daken is only level 70 with the boost. I can bring along a 141 Cap and an 85 OBW or swap OBW for a 115 Punisher. Just about ever match I am up against is a 141, 212, 141 combo. That is a 198 level difference. I was actually being conservative saying 100 levels. The last match I pulled was a 141 Sentinel, 212 Daken, and 141 Hulk. Nasty.

Where does the 2.5 hours come from? I was around 125k with 5 hours left and the points never really rose again. I had each match down to about 125 points, they maybe made it back up to around 200.

They changed the scoring in this event. Missions start at 100% of their points. If you beat them once, they are now worth 80%. But unlike previously, you don't have to wait a full 12 hours before points refresh. The points refresh gradually, and it takes roughly 2.5 hours (2h24min) to get back from 80% to 100%.

So is the optimal strategy now to hit each node once every 2.5 hours?

That was the optimal strategy during Simulator. No idea what kind of scoring they have in stock for us in TaT.

I wouldn't be so sure. They have a lot of trouble estimating progression rewards. Sometimes they're too easy, and sometimes they're unobtainable.

The top 10 alliances don't always have the highest scoring people in them. A few times in the in a brackets I was in, it occasionally had a person who outscored everyone in the top ten alliances by 2,000+ points. I know I personally had outscored everyone in the top ten alliances once by 1,000ish points. However outscoring the people in the top ten alliances is not unheard of, it's not rare but it's also not that common either.

Looking at the way scoring changed and the fact the targets are much more achievable than in the past, I think some might have got very close but fell short because the way points regenerating was different from the past. If people had been grinding like no tomorrow then they might have got the score.

Contact support about kicking inactive players, they should be able to help. Not immediately, but they should.
