Lu, where are you?
Hey there @Magic:PQ Support Team
I would like to share my thoughts about the current state of affairs here on the forum. After the takeover by Webcore, a lot of promises were made, including connecting more with the MTGPQ community. This promise is, imho, not really being lived up to lately.
We were convinced to report bugs again, which some of us did, but when I reported issues with the Routes of Ravnica event AGAIN, I started wondering if it makes any sense in keeping reporting broken stuff, as I haven't seen any activity from your side there. I even quit playing RoR, because it's just a waste of time and apparently you are also not investing your time in fixing it.
People frequently ask questions here directed at the community manager, but close to no one gets an answer. I see a lot of questions in the sneak peak thread.
More transparency in what is happening in the background would certainly increase player engagement, keep them exited and probably also keep them spending on the game. Even if it's just small, regular updates, say once a week. The forum is nearly a ghost town (again).
I could keep giving more examples, but you catch my drift.
TL;DR If you want us to stay engaged to this game and if you request for our input, then you should make sure you are visible here and express that you are actually using our input and working on stuff, answering questions, fix bugs etc.
The MTGPQ community has been through several takeovers now and all share the same pattern: a lot of promises from the start that slowly result in a whole lot of silence.

I can not agree more with you @Machine. And it went down much quicker than I thought it would.
I would like to add all the changes in coalition event scheduling. Apparently they're typos, but after several weeks of typos I'd expect them to pay more attention. And when it does get changed, it's not told to us.
If it doesn't seem like you care, why would we?

Hey, folks!
Thanks for the input. Honestly.
Even though I have been working a bunch on bring info and perspective from here to the team, I do admit I've been failing in doing the work on the other side, bringing news from the team to the players. For example, we heard you about not being able to find Black Friday deals and decided to approach the next ones differently - but I haven't answered it directly. Or bugs, which are being worked on, but I haven't updated the list here. I apologise for that and vow to get back to speed on these tasks.I'll say answering every single question at every single thread seems a bit impossible right now, both due to the allocated time but also because official, properly curated answers probably wouldn't be given in a timely fashion. But the weekly update idea seems doable and is actually something we discussed internally some time ago. I can promise you to revisit this idea with the team this next week and to keep you updated about it in this topic, how about that?
I'm sorry for letting you down on the communication matter. I'll work harder on it. Thanks again for this post. It means a whole lot.
Lu

Update:
We've talked and we're aiming at exposing more of our long-term plans next year. Also, we'll be having more chats here in the forum about current affairs and short-term plans (like coalition events scheduling, for example ;D).

That's a great thing to look forward to! Thanks a lot!

Sounds awesome, thank you Lu (and team)!

Hi Lu @Magic:PQ Support Team can you give us some insight on why you are ignoring the forums?

Hey @Sarah
I haven't been chatting all that much here, been working on some other parts of the project. The forum is still checked, tho! It was due to all of your comments here that we revisited the recent changes to Terrors in the Shadows, for example, and also we're checking the bugs and suggestions you all keep bringing (thanks, btw!).
Q&A answers for this month is a bit late, yes, but it will be published (and, as a spoiler, a change requested by it has already been done ^^).

Thanks for a response. I suspect we are all eager to hear the answers for July’s Q&A as it is now late September.

@Sarah Hmmm... to clarify, the answers for the questions submitted on July have already been posted here.
During August we had only three questions, including that one you mentioned on the thread I've linked above. These have just been posted here. Our goal is to publish them around the 15th of each following month.
We have received only one question so far during the month of September but hopefully the new thread will bring new ones. For everyone reading this, the submission form is always active, so you folks can submit new questions at any time: your questions are always welcome! And, in the event that things change between their submission and our answer, we'll still try to answer it the best of our ability, taking this change into account.

WebCore may have stated at some point that people's questions can be submitted via the same link regardless of month, but I forget when exactly that was. This may be implying they still have the same stance though, on which link to use.

@wraszowixuXuxi, this is the link: https://forms.gle/3KMMkd6g1RM8bHt17
It continuously accepts answers. Each month's Q&A contemplates questions submitted from the first to the last day of that month, instead of everything submitted until the publishing date of the Q&A. This way, questions can be submitted at any date even if it takes a bit longer for some of them to be answered.

Thank you for clarifying this--it might be time to do some housekeeping on the forums as things aren't posted consistently and it is difficult to find posts. Will you please spend some time standardizing things? If I am having trouble locating accurate information in a timely manner, it must be even more confusing for newer players.

@Sarah It makes lots of sense. Thanks for the feedback, we'll into it!
