Important things to know for Ascension Batch 2:

Trying to create a useful. Central list of details for this batch of ascended characters. Will update if there is traction on the topic.

(1) 1* BW and Hawkeye got new yellow powers. Hawkeye's in particular looks really good. They cannot be ascended without those covers. Hope you have standard tokens saved.

(2) America Chavez has significantly less health as a 5* than as a 4*. Not clear if this is intentional.

(3) coulson's purple allows for significantly more tiles swaps (18 tiles?) when ascended. Not clear if this is intentional.

(4) apropos of an earlier conversation here, mordo is a little underwhelming in terms of damage/ap.

(5) quake at 450 blocks 15k of team aoe damage with 5 covers in yellow!

(6) 4* Peggy Carter yellow has been nerfed. Now raises costs 2/3 rather than 3/4 ap.

(7) ascended shuri looks good. So shuri + heimdall may be viable in endgame play.

(8) ascending a 266 + 266 3* today produced a level 303 4* + 4 LTs, 40 cp, 550HP, and 21,000 iso.

On the Official Discord, the devs said that Mordo and America are incorrect and will be adjusted soon (possibly tonight).

The ascension essentials vault inventory stays the same after buying and resetting EXCEPT the 1*BW and Hawkeye cover distribution. Those five will change. And the cost to buy all 40 items stays at 1860. Should be able to get the three yellow covers needed in two vault buyouts.

Except that everyone needs 6 of each yellow cover for the first ascension because you need two max level characters to bind.

It took me about 160 stockpiled standards to get 5 yellow BW and 6 yellow HE covers.

Ok so buy the vault 4 times. It's cheap enough. Or wait and use standards.

I did everyone I can do. I should get a few more relatively soon.

Just looking at this week's boosted guys, Totally Awesome Hulk does 213,000 damage on his green power, and if he hits the escalator it's an extra 80,000.

Red Hulk's AoE is 35,000 base and 93,000 conditional.

I haven't looked at everyone else yet.

I popped about 150 standards trying to get the new yellows. Three Hawkeye, one Widow, and a whole lot of Venom/Juggs that are going to go to waste now. Not worth it. Save your standard stash until all the one stars are ascendable.

I have just rolled my newly freed slots over to extra 1*s for juggs and venom. It's a little annoying, but I can float the roster spots for a few weeks/months. Will save the rest of my standards though.

Anyone else having trouble with lazycap's red as a 4*? The game won't let me select a tile. Blue and yellow are working fine.

That's some bad luck right there. As @Vhailorx correctly pointed out needing 6 yellows so I did end up buying the vault 4 times. Got me the 6 I needed for binding and ascension. Plus I was able to start new 1* versions of each. I have BW 5/4/2 and Hawkeye 3/3/1. I'm only ascending 1s so I've been starting the 1 dupes immediately so I don't waste covers building the base after getting the ascended 1* to lvl 144. That way, now if I pull a BW purple cover I can apply that to my 1BW2 and not sell at the discount rate.

Ascended 1* Black Widow's yellow power shows a 15 AP cost, but her unascended 1* yellow costs 7.

I wouldn’t spend 4K HP buying the vault twice in order to avoid selling 1-Star covers. Think about it - HP is more valuable. You’ll get those yellow covers soon enough

On one hand, that makes sense. On the other hand... buys the vault four times...

My Chavez is still at baby champ 4* numbers even after the update today. I saw somebody say theirs was fixed last night but broken again today, and I didn't ever see mine get fixed.
