With Ascension batch 2.0 coming is 266 + 266 the only way to go?

    I'm with you on that view, I think most 4*s (even if they do become viable at 5) will remain reward bags but there is absolutely a short list of those that I plan to ascend the minute I can... Chavez, Polaris, Juggernaut and Karnak off the top of my head but I've heard solid cases for Rogue and Blob as well.

    If you're a competitive 5* player your LL/CP economy should already be good enough to shrug off missing a handful of covers if you miss out on some retro rewards and in the above examples the 4>5 is almost definitely going to be a better character overall than those they currently feed.

    Yeah that's where I'm at.
    If I miss 12 covers on a new meta 5 by ascending Rulk then so be it - I'll just have to pull those 12 covers from latest.
    If the future 5 isn't meta, who cares about missing 12 covers.
