Best 2* scarecrow team?

Personally I skip teams with Ares/Thor + OBW/Storm, or Ares + Thor (too tanky).

What about you? Which teams are you afraid of in PvP events (that force you to use a featured character)?

Ares/Thor+OBW shouldn't worry you. Ares/Thor+Storm really shouldn't worry you. Burst down the support, then you can usually tank out the last guy. Especially with your own OBW+Thor/Ares - you should be building all three of those characters now if you haven't already. Seriously. Get them. They're dumb.

I usually skip Ares+Thor. It's just too much damn health to slog through, and taking 1k damage every time they get two green matches is a pain in the butt.

You say there are other PVP teams than OBW/Thor?

I can easily win against every 2x85 team with my own OBW/Ares with 90% health intact except the random mega-cascade. Thing is, they can also easily win against me - which sometimes turns into an unpleasant retaliation war. Guess this will go on until I can field a 3*, so the determining factor is the featured guy - I just skip if their featured character is a lot higher than mine. That's why I always bring my 3*s to their softcap contrary to every guide in this forum - I didn't get any attacks at all in Cage Match until the last 3 hours because my Patch was 41 (buffed to 62).

I used to try and have Ares + Thor with not much success, the team that has been most successful defending is OBW (3/5/5) and Ares (4/4/5) however "success" depends on how high in the ladder you are, if you're 600+ you will be bashed anyways.

I'll always attack the tank/OBW team before the tank/tank team. There's always a small chance OBW will get the cascade of death, but that's a problem for the tanks too, and it's going to take longer and usually damage more to fight the two tanks. Admittedly, 90%+ of the matches I see are Ares/OBW or Thor/OBW, so I can't really afford to be scared of it.

The least scary team I (semi-) frequently see is Storm/MNMagneto, followed by Wolverine/anyone.

Ares+Thor comps I usually skip over since I do not want to deal with 5K HP guys who can bite down a **** ton of my HP in the match. However, I tried it before, but it takes too damn long to win a match due to the overlapping colors and the fact that the damage from matches that are not RYG is total garbage. Aside from that, I might ski over Ares if I am trying to make a push and have no time to keep on healing due to his Green keeping on burning away my HP.

I almost always aim for anyone who uses C. Storm on their team. Simply because she is just so easy to pick off. IIRC, she has even less HP than OBW. Just deny her Blue while still keep up the denial of the color for their main threat (Usually Yellow/Green for Ares/Thor). I especially welcome the C. Storm with MN Mags teams. I take out Storm, then the featured. MN Mags is pretty much easy prey as he is fairly weak on his own. The only real threat that MN Mags poses is the good bite out of your HP if his Red goes off, but aside from that, that is nothing a quick Prologue heal can fix up. I also welcome teams who use MN Mags without C. Storm.

I generally just use Ares most of the time these past few PvPs since I can end games fairly quickly with him. I just conservatively use my Green to execute the support and then aim right for the next big threat (Almost always Thor).

MNMags/Cstorm is basically free points to literally anyone other than one stars, cause any characters that require any amount of skill to do well(the aforementioned MNM/CS is a perfect example) is totally useless on defense cause the AI are morons with your team. I almost always fielded a Thor/Ares team when i didn't wanna lost that much points, cause mostly....10k health + loaner character is just annoying, especially if you have squishy teams.

Against 2 star teams with a lowish featured character, I tend to base my skips more on their point value than their comp. There aren't so many 2 star comps that people use that I feel like you can really afford to dodge one. Similarly, how many points I lose seems to relate more strongly to the score I quit with than the team I leave out.

Honorable mention: Ares+Juggernaut. 6AP in Green or Red for 1k damage is not something most people like touching, and Juggs has a ton of life as well.

I used to skip OBW+Thor/Ares back when I was in MMR Heaven... but since I've recently been bumped up into MMR Hell, I'll jump at any team composed with those characters. Hell, I'll jump on an OBW+ 141 Punisher, too.

But in all honesty, I'd say OBW/Thor/Daken or OBW/Ares/Daken. Daken will pretty much make me skip just because I can't stand the constant annimations.

Even when I was primarily running OBW/Ares/Whoever myself I wouldn't consider them hard - just irritating, Or maybe sort of hard: not difficult but prone to getting out of hand if you're not careful.

Yeah, IMO, Ares would probably be a better scarecrow than thor. You're not going to get a defensive win anyway, but you're far more likely to get incidental damage, annoying your opponents, from onslaught's cheaper cast, and the AI doesn't care about the self damage from the yellow, whereas for a 2* team that's a nice chunk of damage, more than an OBW heal. And it's much easier to deny AP for thor, especially if they have an OBW too (which they will)
