Wait time to rejoin alliances?

Anyone know how long you have to wait to rejoin alliances if you have been kicked out? What about if you voluntarily leave?

    If you leave, it's a 1 hour wait.

    Probably the same for being kicked out, but maybe not.

    1 hour if you leave on your own. 24 hours if you're kicked.

    I hate to necro this thread, but I haven't been able to find any new answers. Is this still the same time period to wait? I was told this was changed, but can't find record of that.

    When you leave alliance chill out time is 15minutes.
    When you have been kicked, then you can rejoin in 24h.
