    Historically we don't get anniversary plans ahead of time, so no I don't expect anything until Thursday.

    I'm 99.9% sure we got a calendar showing everything planned for the anniversary like a week before it started last year. Besides that, it doesn't really matter what's happened historically since last year was the first year with the new team

    Those were posted literally the night before anniversary events began (EST). Less than 12 hours notice. It only looks ahead of time because the first post you linked posted the last night of September, and then we recieved anniversary rewards starting the first of October.

    And yes it does matter what historically has happened because the OP is phrased as "wouldn't you expect news by now" and I am saying "no we would not expect news by now".

    If the counterpoint is that they are new devs so it could change, then again, why would we "expect" anything already?

    We will probably have a post tomorrow night (EST) or, at earliest, end of day today. Recently, posts to this forum from the devs have been pretty late in the day EST.

    According to the date stamps in the search screen, last year's post went up on September 29, with anniversary starting on October 1. 8th anniversary post appeared on October 4 with anniversary starting on October 7. So based on historical information, which may or may not be relevant, we should expect an announcement imminently. Or not...

    Keep in mind too that the former devs used to post placeholder announcements and edit in the details afterwards.

    But yes that is moot given the new devs anyway. Info seems to go elsewhere first, so people should probably watch the social media accounts for news on the anniversary tbh.

    If you level up all the 1* to 550 5* you are awarded the Golden Chocobo which allows you to obtain the Knights of the Round Support with which you can win MPQ.
