No Love From D3

I am the founder of my alliance, and I sent in a request on 5/29/14 to have a commander who is barely playing and not chatting at all demoted so that I may replace him with someone who cares. I have since updated my ticket with current scores, or lack there of, from events. The only thing I have received from D3 is an auto email saying they got mine. Am I being too impatient? Did I send it to the right place? I went through the envelope on the loading screen. I just keep waiting, but it is getting old.

No experience with this personally, but I've seen others recommending PMing IceIX. They say he is usually very good about forwarding the request directly to a support person who can help (I guess as opposed to being in their queue somewhere and who knows when they get to you). I've also heard people having a hard time getting underactive commanders kicked, but no problem getting inactive commanders kicked, but since you're the founder of the alliance you might not have a problem with that.

Also, from what I understand, the envelope on the launch screen is broken and doesn't actually reach anyone.

Yo Heaka! No this seems about par for the course.
I had a request on Mar 12th which they responded to in a day.
And when I replied, there was a lag till April 1st, no joke.
So yeah ...

Ice said in another thread (I think the late evening Q&A thread) that he personally removed an inactive alliance commander for someone who requested it in that thread. However, he explicitly said that he couldn't do that if the player was simply sandbagging.

For what it's worth, I just went through this same thing. My ticket is still unanswered, but our sandbagging commander got annoyed with the entire alliance emailing him and pleading (no real harassment or threats, just outright begging) that he apologized and left on his own.

Hopefully, the alliance leader is something that will get added soon (Ice mentioned it as a possibility). With 28 developers, you'd think they'd have more major features coming out regularly. So one can hope this one will be soon.

We have tried contacting the guy through the alliance chat because he is not a member here or on Facebook. We have only heard from him once on the chat and it was something very flippant that only made us want to get rid of him more. Also, I don't know if it matters that I founded the alliance, then left, then came back. I really appreciate the info you guys are giving me here. Thank you

I had same situation. Founded alliance, left, came back to help with restructuring.

Sent ticket to support with two commanders names. No reply by email but inactive commander was kicked same day and low point one stayed. Fortunetly he's a lot more active now so it worked out.

28 is probably not devs but devs, pr, manager, secretary, janitor...

Just to give an update, I emailed d3 again today using the link kigoral gave me. They responded within an hour and removed the player for me. Thanks for the help and I hope this may help others.
