Gameplay ideas
Hi! I've been playing this game on and off for years (I just hit day 3534), had a few suggestions that I've been thinking about for a while now. I'm sure others have suggested them already but wanted to suggest it anyway.
One suggestion was, everytime you use a token, it levels up, I'm talking like .1 or .01% to getting higher tier heroes the next time you use it. I've used the basic tokens for years now and it's to the point where I just use them to use them. I don't expect anything but 1* characters that I'll just be turning around to sell.
The other suggestion was maybe having a town or base you could level up. Maybe have one part of it trickle in shards, maybe 3*, 4*, 5*. Then maybe aother part lets you send heroes on passive assignments to get rewards, and another part has special daily battles against specific enemies requiring certain heroes to fight them (xmen, avenger, villian, etc). You get parts of the base from doing events. Certain types of enemies would drop certain types of parts for different upgrades for it.
Like I said, I'm sure both of these ideas have been suggested. I don't do a lot of PvP but I've been doing the PvE events pretty religiously the last 3-4 months and after I finish for the day, there isn't much reason to come back in the afternoon.
I really enjoy the game, I just wish I had a reason to check back later in the day after I've completed the PvE event.

Hi @CornNut, welcome to the forum! I'm on Day 3530 today, so you're a few days ahead of me.
These are interesting ideas! I'm not sure how the tokens are coded, but I think "outgrowing" them is a good concept. I think it might be easier to use SCL in PvE - I'm always slightly disappointed to see STs at the end of the later wave node in Heart of Darkness in SCL10! Perhaps just upgrading STs to HTs for SCL10 or ETs in SCL9 would be easier. You could also swap existing ETs for HTs and HTs for MTs.
Beyond that though, I think it's unlikely - if MTs were swapped for Classics, you could get 3 Classic Tokens per PvE (effectively worth 60CP).
As for the base idea - again a cool idea. I think part of what Supports in PvP could be in the future involves this kind of "defensive bonus". Certainly having missions for "support shards" would be a helpful way of upgrading supports. There is of course a worry that too much defensive ability deters the offense and limits the number of players in PvP so it will be interesting to see how it will play out.

Yeah, no idea how the tokens are coded. Just thinking of a way to make all of them a little more useful. Sometimes I have hundreds of the basic ones and I just see it at 100 iso each pretty much. And very very small ugprades is what I'm thinking, but, over say, 10 years, maybe I'd mainly getting 2* characters from the basics and slightly more 3* and no 1*s anymore.
