Unable to send message to alliance mates

Ever since update R279 alliance chat seems to disappear and reappear all the time for me now, which isn’t really that big of an issue since I rarely use it anyway. I usually only use it to tell my alliance members what team ups to send me. Just this morning I attempted to do just that and it caused all of the messages that were there to again disappear and it also wouldn’t allow me to send the message informing my alliance members what to send.

Considering how we’re on update 280 now I figured these issues would have been resolved but clearly they have not been.
