Pride vault not working?
I managed to pull one character from the vault by playing as Mystique before the vault opened, but I haven't been able to collect any since. Anyone else having this issue?

The new post says daily tokens for pride vault doesn’t start till the 8th

Well that's just terrible optics.

We already have another vault already open. I do not see a problem.

Idk, I think it's bad optics to not have your pride month rewards (or for that matter AAPI or black history month, etc.) not begin until a quarter of the way through the month. Make your monthly celebrations monthly - and if the occasional weeklong vault overlap really throws off the economy, adjust the payouts.

So you are saying it is bad optics if you do not celebrate pride month enough?
Hey yo, you need to celebrate this thing more because reasons.
Get off it. Just like any other diversity month they are engaging it. There just happens to be other things happening at the same time.

I'm guessing that there's a technical issue preventing different characters offering tokens to multiple vaults concurrently.
I don't think that means a lack or commitment to diversity because all of the monthly vaults were open for the entire month, but "free" tokens are only available for 23 days.
Some monthly vaults have had different amounts of "free" tokens but I don't for a minute believe that corresponds to how important they think a given month is.

Get off what? I'm just saying that if you're going to make a habit of having these celebrations and then not making them occur throughout the whole month, that's bad optics.
Personally, I'm ambivalent to representation like that. A giant corporation telling me they care about queer rights is really just telling me they're happy to take my money. At the same time, I recognize that representation means a lot to a lot of people and that having these kinds of celebrations is genuinely driven by the good will of people attempting it. So it's not an ethical judgment. As scofie stated, it's likely a coding issue - and if not, it's almost certainly something innocuous. I've got nothing but respect and sympathy for a team trying to wrestle with a legacy codebase to a decade old game.

But, in the same breath you are saying they are not celebrating enough. Dogging them for not celebrating to your liking is just as bad as them pandering. To be clear I don't think it is not a coding issue, they have done several concurrent vaults previously the past few months. It most likely an issue where they are trying to slow down the output of rewards. I think that is actually what is happening.
I cleared last months vault on day 5, so I had 26 extra tokens available for me yesterday for the post event vault.BCS has been overly giving for these types of event, and I think this is the first step to try to reign it in some.
I think you may be projecting prerogatives or demands in my language that I didn't mean to be there. I used the phrase "terrible optics" for a couple of reasons (tho maybe "terrible" was a bit too dramatic). It suggests negative public perception without necessary implying the intent of the creators, and it doesn't necessarily demand recourse (There's plenty of reasons why bad optics might happen, and often it's more sensible to take the hit because of technical or practical demands).
Which is to say, from a general public relations direction, I think it's way better optics to make monthlong celebrations actually payout for the whole month (both so it seems like they're "fully celebrating" the month or whatever and so players don't need to hit up the forums to know when or if they'll be getting free tokens for a vault). From a personal perspective? I'm honestly ambivalent, and I definitely don't want to "dog" the developers for anything. Whether it's due to technical limitations or an attempt to balance out the economy (either seems a reasonable possibility), I don't think it's that big a deal. And I'm going to just leave it at that! Not because we disagree (I really don't think we do), but because I don't want to turn a comment I meant as a passing shrug into a crusade.

I think, just to add to my point a little - Pride Month lasts the whole month. They've not cut it short, halved the rewards in the vault or anything of the sort. They're giving out a free token every day. Just for the first week it goes to the spider-verse vault and from then on to the Pride Month vault.
I just think it's important to separate the celebration of diversity in society with "getting free stuff."
I also don't think it's anything to do with slowing down rewards either. Firstly for the reason above in that the number of tokens remains the same and both vaults have good rewards in them. Secondly, the new bonus shards system is like a permanent Shardmas!

Last month we had 2 vaults running concurrently and characters awarding tokens for Mother's Day and AAPI. You could even be efficient and put Ghostpool in your team to net all 3 tokens in one go. So it's shown to be possible, maybe it was an oversight or they ran out of time.

Thanks! I think I've lost track of months! There was the issue with WHM only being 2 weeks but that was a couple of months ago. Devpool explained here that the vault construction and pull duration are not tied so perhaps something went wrong as you say.
