Annex Sentry doesn’t return card [Investigating]

Hi, opponent played Annex Sentry which exiled my Mox Sapphire. This was the only card in my exile now, and it had the Bind emblem. Next turn I used Endless Detour to remove Annex Sentry but the Mox stayed in my exile.
Annex Sentry reads “When this creature leaves the battlefield” but I’m wondering if it only triggers when its exiled or destroyed?

    Confirmed: 2 turns later opponent played another Annex Sentry, I killed it this time and got my Mox back into play. The wording is wrong on the card.

    Wow, really got my UAT time in with this battle! A few turns later, another Annex Sentry, this time I exiled it with Dakkon’s A2 and I got my Bind emblem card back. So Destroy and Exile work. Bouncing back to hand or library doesn’t work.
