Hi, I’m new here and couldn’t find a way to start a new post so a big sorry in advance for (kinda) hijacking this thread.
I just tried to become a VIP as the 4/1 offer is quite tempting but even after switching Game Data Save from Facebook to Apple I get this In-Game message:
PURCHASE FAILED The account you are signed in with is not authorized to make purchases. Please change you [sic!] account settings and try again.
I’m a bit at a loss here. Where are these “account settings” supposed to be? I can’t find them anywhere in the iOS version which is the only way I ever played this game.

I'm not an Apple user (other than work) but it sounds like it's in the iPhone account settings rather than the game settings.
