I know this is not game related at all, and possibly will be be deleted by mods but I feel obligated to get this information to as many Americans as possible.

If you have heard the news about private Bergdahl of the United states army, and how he is a hero to his country, PLEASE take a moment to read some of my Facebook posts/links. Thus man Is a traitor and a deserter. Do everything you can to share the truth and make sure justice is served. He was a soldier in my unit deployed to the same region at the same time. He caused the deaths of many soldiers and has done great harm to our country! Please investigate and share before this is deleted or locked.

    How about throwing a copy of this post in the 'Off Topic' forum, where it should be just fine to remain alive.

    I agree with leaving no man behind, but I hope like hell they throw the entire UCMJ at him once he is done processing.

    So I did investigate, as I don't use facebook. (gods, trying to find an even reasonably objective article on this one) It seems likely the man did desert; however, it also sounds like he was suffering from PTSD at the time - he'd just watched an afghan child run over by an MRAP.     On the whole: Eh. There's certainly doubt about what happened, but innocent until proven guilty. Frankly the reaction seems a bit overheated.
