What do they mean by everyone receives a heroic cover pack? Are they talking about the ten packs they give out in seasons one and two or something entirely different?

    From what we can tell, it is everyone is guaranteed a heroic recruit token.

    just one token, but looks like they are introducing 3* tokens. so there's that.

    "Cover pack" = token. The worst prize is a heroic, so you get that guaranteed even if come in last.

    Do the devs writing the intros even speak proper english? By definition pack means bundled.

    HAD I known that I was not getting a guaranteed multiple tokens I would of just spent the 100 hero points on a heroic token instead of coming in at #28 and getting 1 token and some iso. icon_e_sad.gif

    This new feature was a waste of my hard earned and frugal saved hero points.

    That is true. Maybe we continue seeing these 3* tokens.
    I might be in the minority but i liked this event.
    All you need to do is come in the top 20 for 2 tokens for only 150HP.

    It's a pretty bad deal for any F2P player, developed or not (non-guaranteed tokens always are, especially heroic).
    You gotta get used to the devs' lingo. There's no such thing as a single token. Instead, it's a 1-pack.

    I have not spent a dime on this game and I am pretty sure that will not change.
    150HP for the possible rewards is a good deal.

    Okay assume the best case scenario. You spend 150 HP to enter and get a soft bracket, so you end up 1st. Your reward is Daredevil. 150 HP for that and a bunch of ISO? Hmmm.
    Worst case scenario? You spend 150 HP to enter, get a tough bracket, get attacked constantly, have to shield a few times. Your reward? 3 heroic tokens. So, 225+ HP for 3 Bullseyes. Hmmm.

    Best case - spend 150HP - receive 250HP, 2000 iso, and a 3* star cover.
    Even if you didnt play a match after spending 150 to join - one recruit token that costs 100 as a daily special or 200 regular price.

    I entered as soon as I saw the event pop up then regretted it about ten minutes later. Came back with about 3 hours left in the event. Figured i should at least aim for a top 20 finish to receive two tokens.
    150 for the guaranteed token isn't really a bad deal.
    2 for 150HP is better than any other deal (plus 6-10 received 50HP).
    3-5 received 3 tokens and 50HP. 3 tokens for really 100HP is a pretty sweet deal!

    It was fun so I kept playing and ended up in 1st with 750 pts. Got my 250 hp, 2000 iso, and a Doom cover.
    It was fun. I hope they do it again.

    Oh, I forgot. But still, to spend HP just to maybe get even? The non-guaranteed tokens prizes suck on too many levels to compete hard for those, unless you are in a severe drought for 3* covers and can use even Daredevil.
