    Okay, you lot....welcome back to Tom's Corner of Obscure Marvel Stuffage...

    The Elf With A Gun.

    As a kid, one of my favorite Marvel Comics was THE DEFENDERS, written at that time by the wonderfully twisted Steve Gerber (he also created Howard The Duck). A recurring subplot of his run involved us looking in on average ordinary people who answer the door to find...an elf in green with red hair and beard holding a gun. The elf would then kill the people with the gun and disappear. Now Gerber had some long term idea for what as going on with The Elf With The Gun, but he left the book abruptly before the subplot was resolved. Gerber's successor David Anthony Kraft had The Elf With The Gun run over by a truck in one of his first issues, but I like to think this miniscule menace is still stalking the streets of 616 plying his 'trade.'

    So yeah...if we can get the f'in Big Wheel (great character in the context of the game, but a less-than-Z-lister otherwise), I want the Elf With A Gun.

    After I get Batroc, of course.
