Haste and stun counters [Investigating]

Had an interesting issue in the blue node of Revolving Planeswalk. My opponent had a Faithbound Judge in play. I played Rem Karolus. Due to the event support, the Faithbound Judge got a stun counter when Rem came into play. Since Rem has haste, it attacked immediately -- but Faithbound Judge blocked Rem, even though Judge had a stun counter.

    The stun counter doesn't work when it is placed but at the beginning of the card controller's turn. It will remove 1 counter at that moment and if there is at least 1 left it will be disabled.
