Urza, Lord Protector/Urza, Planeswalker: Official Thread
Before becoming a planeswalker, Urza was a brilliant artificer who engaged in a decades long war with his own brother. The explosion of the Golgothian Sylex that ended the war and changed Dominaria forever also awakened Urza’s spark, granting him power beyond his imagination.
Abilities
Urza, Lord Protector
Power Redirection - Cost 8
Level 1: The first Artifact or Spell card in your hand gains 5 mana.
Level 2: Artifact and Spell cards in your hand gain 3 mana.
Level 3: Artifact and Spell cards in your hand gain 3 mana. If you have a card named The Mightstone and The Weakstone in hand — It gains full mana.
Level 4: Artifact and Spell cards in your hand gain 5 mana. If you have a card named The Mightstone and The Weakstone in hand — It gains full mana.
Calculating Assessment - Cost 11
Level 1: Discard a card, then draw 2 cards. The last card in your hand gains 3 mana.
Level 2: Discard a card, then draw 2 cards. The last card in your hand gains 6 mana.
Level 3: Discard a card, then draw 2 cards. The last card in your hand gains 6 mana. If you have a card named Urza Lord Protector in hand — It gains half of its mana.
Level 4: Discard a card, then draw 2 cards. The last card in your hand gains 6 mana. If you have a card named Urza Lord Protector in hand — It gains full mana.
Urza, Planeswalker
Artificer's Transcendence - Cost 8
Level 1: You gain 1 life for each Artifact you control and each Spell card in your graveyard.
Level 2: If you control 2 or less Artifact cards — Create an Artifact Soldier Token. You gain 2 life for each Artifact you control and each Spell card in your graveyard.
Level 3: If you control 2 or less Artifact cards — Create 1 Artifact Soldier Tokens. You gain 2 life for each Artifact you control, including their reinforcements, and each Spell card in your graveyard.
Level 4: Create 3 Soldier Tokens. You gain 2 life for each Artifact you control, including their reinforcements, and each Spell card in your graveyard.
Essence Disassembly - Cost 14
Level 1: Exile an opposing card with the greatest mana cost.
Level 2: Exile an opposing card with the greatest mana cost.
Level 3: Exile an opposing card with the greatest mana cost.
Level 4:Exile an opposing card with the greatest mana cost.
Ultimate Blast - Cost 20
Level 1: Destroy all opposing cards. Destroy all non-vanguard and non-artifact cards you control.
Level 2: Destroy all opposing cards. Destroy all non-vanguard and non-artifact cards you control. Fetch the first Artifact card from your library. It gains half of its mana.
Level 3: Destroy all opposing cards. Destroy all non-vanguard and non-artifact cards you control. Fetch the first Artifact card from your library. It gains full mana.
Level 4: Destroy all opposing cards. Destroy all non-vanguard and non-artifact cards you control. Fetch the first Artifact card with the greatest mana cost from your library. It gains full mana.
Passive Ability
Impending Ignition
When you activate a loyalty ability for the first time during your turn: If you're playing with Urza, Lord Protector - If you control a card named Urza, Lord Protector and a card named The Mishtstone and Weakstone - Tag with Urza, Planeswalker. Otherwise: Draft a card from Urza's spellbook. If you're playing with Urza, Planeswalker - Gain an extra swap. You may activate a Loyalty ability again this turn.

Please specify the contents of Urza's spellbook. I don't mind cross referencing for full card details, but the titles would be helpful.

I guess, if you don't own the cards Urza, Lord Protector and Mightstone and Weakstone, you can Draft them from Urza's Spellbook. But if you do have them in your deck, it will allow transforming Urza faster.

Won't this PW only be reallt useful as long as these cards are in standard?
I guess you could still draft the cards after we leave this set but it'll take considerably longer
