Am i losing my mind or…?(slice timings)

So i coulda sworn that the next PvE and versus events had slice timings that said they were 1 hour earlier than what they normally are but the timings as to when they’re available now show they start at the usual times. Did I see it wrong when I signed up for it or were the times that were originally listed wrong?

    Daylight saving time ends in the US this weekend.

    Ah makes sense. I guess I didn’t lose my mind then just forgot about daylight savings thanks

    Yeah I got squeezed out of first day of Operation Spider Silk coz it ended an hour earlier than I was expecting. Ah well.

    But... This is the third PVE since Europe switched to DST, how can this affect you NOW?

    Very, very easily - Y'see I haven't been playing the other ones at the end of the daily timeframe so wasn't active when they finished early and didn't even know it was happening. Today I just happened to be able to play at that time (a rarity for me). I should have remembered anyway as this happens every year at this time but that is how it goes.

    Ah I see - I always assume everyone here is playing PVE optimally, but that makes sense of course.

    Heh - no, my time in the real world doesn't let me do so - today is a rare day for playing between 8am - 5pm for me. I am playing "casually" on OSS just to get the She Hulk shards. I late joined hoping I could catch a SCL10 flip and so double dip on placement a bit but no such luck so no point in going too mental. It was inconvenient but I will still be OK.

    yeah i definitely play consistently suboptimally since I'm only after SCL10 full progression generally.

    Damn, I thought the game would update along with daylight savings and we get an additional hour. I popped on an hour before my slice usually ends and it's already over :(

    If you are a new play then I guess it could be confusing that the actual end times change during daylight saving/standard time changes. If you have played more than a couple of years though I would think people would know that the time of an event stays the same (barring a glitch) so when the time changes in the fall and spring you need to adjust your end times accordingly.
    The good thing with the fall change is that you get an hour break between the ending of one event and the start of another. The bad thing is that in the fall the new event may start before the current one has ended.
