I wanted to have a dedicated thread for us to appreciate the efforts of the new dev team. They are killing it, and I was hoping as a community we could express that sentiment. Constructive feedback got us here, maybe positive feedback will help keep the train on the tracks.
I’ve been pretty vocal about some of my favorite changes. My absolute favorite though is focus on player satisfaction and attention to housekeeping. I love it.
What are your favorite additions since they have taken the wheel?

One thing I want to say is that BCS has made the game feel alive again because they are enthusiastic about its future. This is how you reinvigorate a 9year old game.My favorite is giving out the newest five star cover in boss events. It is such a refreshing change to know there is an event where you can earn a new 5* cover not a token.9

Sure, they break a lot of things, but at least they're willing to experiment.5 -
The generosity is outstanding. Still that's not the factor I appreciate the most (actually I think it's too much):
the design of characters to make them good and to not need a future rebalance.
It's not possible to make always a meta character. However the new 5*s are way better and meta shaking than those created by former devs.
Of course each player can talk about the place they are standing, however I think they have shaken 4* land too, specifically with doop and his flexibility, although is too soon for 4* players can realize it or play it without boost.
I love 3* Emma and I hope arcade too could be so good character as to see play in PvE for 5* players.
There is also the affiliations enhanced concept still to develop further but I can see its great potential.

I love the enthusiasm from BCS first and foremost. They're not just treading water, they love the game and have plans to make it better. Involved, attentive devs make me care about the future of this game even when things go a bit awry.Speaking of that, yeah we can debate about what happened or if the "fix" to a problem was good or not but we should all appreciate that they're actively working to make good when things don't turn out as intended. Not "here's some iso, be happy you got anything" but significant efforts to make things right and leave the player base happy.2

I don’t care about all that. They are more active with the community which really means so much more. Dev blogs, regular character rebalances, and answering community questions. All of these things help to give confidence to the community.
Now their goal should be to expand the community and bring lower level players up to the higher tiers more quickly.3 -

I love their enthusiasm for the game and the excitement for the game that it’s brought with all the things they’re looking into adding and changing to keep this gravy train rolling long into the future. I feel like it’s really easy for things to get stale but all of their involvement with the community with the Q&A’s and things they’re looking to improve/change really has me excited and looking forward to the future of the game and the potential of what it can be and where it can go.1

I was a little worried about 3* dilution given I about 2 years from catching up on iso, but Emma Frost kills PvE with Valkyrie/May/Chavez and Shang-Chi, especially when SC is boosted. Turns out, SC becoming 5/5/5 is both versatile and insanely powerful. Shocking I know. I haven’t even sank iso into her yet. Looking forward to what other combinations they can give us.1

Several posts have said it already but I will repeat the points that I appreciate.- Greater comms. I really like the blog posts that they are doing, esp for new characters. It provides a sneak peak which we get to see the various dev.- Rebalance. They are not worried about testing out new things and even rolling back the changes (eg X-force)
- Willing to make changes when it make sense even though it doesn’t make them money. Introducing 3* and 5* emma, and changing 4* to make it feed 5* is perfectly logical. But such retrospective changes means they have to give out “free” 5* covers. BCS adopted a long term view and is not worried about giving away free things, knowing that it increase community engagement in the long run.5 -
The new dev team certainly seems to have a good grasp of the meta and a knack for character design. I really appreciate their generosity and passion they have for the game. The fact that they took the time to redesign Banner Hulk and make him noticeably better is promising and they seem very responsive to community feedback. Finally, I appreciate the overall increased community engagement.
The new dev team has started out strong and I am looking forward to what they have planned in the coming months and next year.5
