Thank You Thread!

I wanted to start a THANK YOU thread. It can be used for all things appreciated.

I'll start...

First, I'd like to THANK DecoyDuck for accepting me into CareBearStare, even though my roster was supremely limited. I'd also like to THANK all my fellow bears for keeping me engaged in the game and making it fun for me again. As I have stated so many times, the inter-alliance competition/chat with you all has been more fun than the game itself sometimes and has helped me place better than I have in the past when I was on my own. Without you guys and gals, I probably would have just thrown my hands up and walked away. You guys/gals are AWESOME!! STARE STARE STARE!!

Second, I'd like to THANK my fellow forumites and Mods for the mostly insightful posts that have helped me improve my strategies and understanding of the game. And also for the posts that have made me laugh so hard that my side hurt on multiple occasions.

Third, I would like to send a THANK YOU to IceIX, for engaging with us for an entire day to answer our questions and address our concerns. (Questions? Ask.) I am very grateful and hope to see many more "fireside chats" in the future.

Fourth, considering the recent changes to the game (Take a bow MPQ..getting it right pve style) that put people on a more level playing field, the good will gesture of D3/Demiurge (Recent Server Issues and Compensation) to compensate us as an apology for the server/communication mess, I say THANK YOU.

While I understand that D3/Demuirge have a ways to go still, I think that they should be acknowledged for the positive changes that they are now making. And it is my hope that they will continue down this path and continue making the game better, and keep listening to AND responding to us.

I'm sure there are those who would disagree with me. And if you want to disagree with me, the only thing I ask is that you do so in a different thread (name it "why aaronschmiz is crazy" or some thing like that and I'll come a running to debate you. lol) or PM me as not to derail this thread.

I agree, not sure if they're finally listening to the folks, or just making changes on their own, but it feels like we're out of a nose dive and starting to come back up. I loved the last PVE, and IceIX making a Q&A was a good idea also.
  • I want to thank Steve Jobs for being especially cruel to his employees and making an affordable tablet pc.
  • I want to thank you for being a friend. We traveled down the road, and back again. Your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant.
I'm not ashamed to say, I hope it always will stay this way. My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow?
And, if you threw a party, invited everyone you knew. You would see the biggest gift would be from me, and the card attached would say: Thank you for being a friend.
  • Guess thanks are due to Sir Sinclair for creating ZX81 and the Commodore Semiconductor Group for C64 for creating the fundamentum to have computers in households... Then IBM to forget patenting the ISA bus that resulted in kind of explosion on the market.
  • I want to think D3 for making it so easy to walk way from this game. Thanks to their heavy handed changes, a consistent track record of not listening to the community and a sad, ever declining pve/pvp reward system, I won't bother investing anymore of my time and money into this game. Whew, I could have really spent some serious cash making the transition between 2* and 3*!

So thanks D3!!! Peace out fellas, I'm on to greener pastures over to the Marvel Heroes pc game where devs actually listen and respond to player feedback.

If you think a thread called "Question. Ask." is open minded, friendly two way discussion from the devs I don't know what to tell you. This is one sheep they won't be fleecing anymore.

In a rare show of positivity I would like to take this time to thanks the devs for a good PvE event for the first time in months.

Scaling was manageable, rubber banding was spot on and enemy combibations were cool, seriously all Black Widow team? Please do this sort of thing more often it was great. I managed to finish top 50 overall, which is where I feel I should have been for the amount of time and effort put in.

I am not saying that everything was perfect but it sure was an improvement over your recent offerings.
