    I think it's good to have such challenges in pvps. It fires up more creative juices.

    Chasm and Thor are the best 2 of the year. Big Wheel is another who is a great second partner, but not a great solo toon.

    I mean... I've found plenty of "annoying" combos with the 2022 class, but none being particularly killer or fun to play with.

    Most of these combos are tedious and annoying to play against. For example, KK + Rhino, Kamala's yellow lays off a lot of protects and Rhino likes protects, so. Or mass team heals like Crystal + May + Abigail. See?

    I'm having a hard time fitting Echo or Ikaris in a good team (Ikaris allegedly is good enough for a trump card with his revive and long airborne etc and has carried me well to this point, but still)

    On the flip side, it means you can float higher in similar pvps in the future, like Balance of Power?

    Yes! Using her with big wheel and sersi and matches are much faster now.  Already went from 20 wins to 50 wins since she was added.

    They really need to tweak Ikaris when he is flying solo. Prioritize 5-matches, then 4-matches, then his own colors (I'd prefer purple - red - yellow, but in order of match damage is fine too). It feels like they intentionally assigned him a weaker version of the game's matching algorithms, which is a slap to Iraris's face.

    Yeah I'd like Ikaris tweak when flying solo, also note yellow matches are useless when he's the last survivor because he won't revive at that point but hey. If anything I'd like to be able to make the match myself

    Why would you bother trying to win that? When my JThor gets wiped like that I just retreat (costs less health to retreat too over a long match). I can do 3-5 other battles in that time frame.

    P.S. I agree with everyone else, this is a long long slog against defensive teams even in 4* land where I face under covered 5*. Battles are easily 2-3 times as long in terms game time.

    Ikaris plays well with mThor if you can get him airborne, all those free cascades get his back row damage working and you can just sit on yellow until he starts hitting for huge damage.

    I like KK, but I think she is a secondary tier character (like Big Wheel) not a primary to build around.
    I use her for trash node clear in cl10, but she does not make the roster for more difficult nodes.
    10 yellow for her defense and several turns to get her empowered makes for slower play.
    I like her ap generation, but it is just too slow to be effective in higher tiers. She replaced Knull for me, so that is pretty high praise.
    Still she is not as good as either Thor or Chasm, and probably less situationally good than Big Wheel(arguable)

    I just lost because Ikaris preferred a regular black match-3 and then a regular green match-3 instead of one of two available purple match-3s. Bleh.

    I'm getting attacked relently and I suppose it's due to me not having Chasm champed. Dr Thor helps with winfinite faster but each match still takes between 2 to 3 minutes.  :o 

    My experience should be better if I got Chasm champed.

    It definitely made it better. I had her in mind even before the event started and was a bit sad she was locked out at first. Besides, I made sure she had all her 3 powers, so she is valuable to me.

    I ran a match with Chasm at first while Jane was locked but GOD he doesn't let your teammates fire powers....  :/

    Glad to see this event didn't only suck for 5* players but also for 4* players.

    (Tiny Voice) I thought Class of 2022 was fun! Chasm has been my main since release, so maybe I’m just used to never-ending matches. 

    After many, many mirror matches, I realized that the only ones that were actually annoying had an opposing Chasm w/ 4 or 5 on purple. Those additional revives/heals make a tangible difference in a face off, so well played those of you that don’t go with a 5/3/5 Chasm build.

    Before Jane arrived, I was surprised that Chasm/Crystal/Emm5 were wrecking shop with passive damage. They were too slow post-FosThor, but could be a fun Simulator team… if it wasn’t currently filled with wall to wall iHulk/iShulk/Chasm teams.

    I ended on using Chasm (4/5/4), Thor, and Puck (as an outlet for green/black but none champed). The Thor mirror match was the toughest to keep Chasm alive since both ladies like to target the abyss tiles.

    I didn’t climb too high, just the 10cp, but I used Sersi/Big Wheel/Jane for maximum cascade

    I ended up 21st so in the 11-26 range awards so I was satisfied.  :) I ran KK/JThor/4Hulk because these were my most covered.
