A plea of help to the developers
I have been playing on steam since its US launch on that platform. I have put in easily over $150 into this game, with plans to continue supporting in the future.
However after and storm my computer has been fried. With my upcoming wedding i don't have the funds to drop on a new computer. I am making a plea to get my account mirrored over to the Mobile platform. I don't want to lose the 33(ish?) roster spots i have purchases, the months of ISO, the hundreds of covers(Good bye Nick Fury), and the countless hours ive poured into this game.
If there is any way possible for you to look at my account, and see how active i am both monetarily, and game play wise, I'm sure you will see my point. I love this game but kicking me back to the start due to a hardware failure in this day and age would make me quite sad.

That sucks, but it's not like your roster expires. There is no 'kicking back to the start' going on here unless you're saying that you're never going to buy a computer again. Unless all of the account data is stored locally (in which case they wouldn't be able to help you anyway) it will still be there the next time you sign on to Steam even if it takes a few months or years after the nuptials (Congrats, by the way!) to save up enough scratch to buy a new PC.
Please don't think I'm being a d-bag here, if the devs can, and are willing, to grant your request that would be awesome. I'm just saying that the situation is not as dire as you are making it out to be so if they don't, or can't, do it then you haven't really lost anything. Especially since you won't be spending a lot of time playing video games in the upcoming months anyway.0 -
Open a support ticket and see if they'll do it there.0

The issue is that i know wont have the ability to buy a CPU thats to my standards for about a year. 1 year of not playing this game and i likely wont care anymore. Have you ever really picked a game back up after that long? I guess i feel that i spent enough on this to warrant some help on this one. Not only that, but im highly likely to spend more. But if cant play i cant continue to support their product, even if i would like to. I am more hoping the devs see an opportunity to save a customer.
I did open a ticket as well, fingers crossed.0
