Markov Purifier does not draw card (Duplicate issue - please ignore/delete)

Card: Markov Purifier

Text: When this creature enters the battlefield: If you gained life last turn - Draw a card.

I have observed that after putting Markov Purifier into play following a turn that I gained life, no card is drawn despite the come into play ability of Markov Purifier. Since I my hand has one card slot open after casting this creature, it's not a problem of not having room to draw a card.

Reproduction of this bug should be easy.

1. Gain life.  This can be done by having a creature with lifelink deal damage, by casting a creature with Ajani's Welcome on the board, by using the first ability of the Ajani Unyielding planeswalker, or by gaining life from from the first or third ability of Kaya, Azorius Usurper.
2. Cast Markov Purifier.  Note that no card is drawn.

The same result occurs if Markov Purifier is put into play from some other effect, such as that from Deploy the Gatewatch.
