Account Sharing Between Mobile and PC Versions

Is this something being actively worked on? I would love to be able to play with my mobile account I have been working on for several years on the steam version. There is already an option to backup your account using facebook, and I know there are plenty of other mobile games that have implemented this feature using facebook backups.

I also know that this question has been posed in the past, so I was mostly looking to bump the topic and see if this has been looked into being implemented.
