We all know that even although MTGPQ normally follow after paper designs, they do have some artistic freedom here and there. For example, they make their own evergreen icons, and some of them are really great (I really enjoy the icon for Party mechanic - a very clever design imo). They also have to make names for Planeswalkers' abilities. And that's where they get to be creative.

Recently I got a closer look at Sorin the Mirthless and was a bit confused about the names of Abilities 2 and 3. A quick Google search gave some explanations.
The Skin of a Killer seems to be a reference to Edward from Twilight saga: This is the skin of a killer, Bella.
And Like Razors Through Flesh seems to come from Pinhead in Hellraiser III:
There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh.

Have you ever thought that an ability/card/event name was particularly clever or was an obscure reference you were happy to uncover?
