It feels like Groundhog Day with Holliday Showdown x seems to be fixed

UPDATE - I now have 6 charges so perhaps something got fixed or the recharge is different from what we normally see.

As far as I can see this event is bugged (yet again).

I just entered the event and played a match, see if this feels familiar.

8 hour recharge 
2 days event

By my calculations we get something like 6-7 matches totalling 30-35 points, which means half of the big prizes are out of reach.

Please tell me I’m wrong.

    The calculus is right per se, only point is that I have played only one match and still have six charges...

    They fixed it a moment ago. Tremayne is right, the event initially wasn't possible to finish. The same occurred in 2019 and 2020:
