Reinforcing Transformed Creature Questions

Hi new player here, I recently got a card that transform. After it transformed, and I tried to reinforce it, it summoned a new creature instead. But when the new summoned creature transform, it merged into one? Is this normal

Which is weird, cause I vaguely remember I never had trouble with transform during the werewolf events a few days ago where I can reinforce a werewolf during its night form by using its day form card. But I can't seem to do it now. I forgot to take some screenshot / videos but if I have time later, I'll record it. I just want to ask first if this is a normal behavior.

It will only reinforce when it’s on the same side. Once the creature transforms back, it reinforces. Werewolves and all transform creatures have always worked like this.

Similarly, if you have 3 creatures in hand, and your transform card is transformed, it will not reinforce from your hand or summon. You will have to wait until the creature flips back.

@rednryt The reason they acted differently during the Harvesttide is you were using cards from MID with Daybound/Nightbound. They ETB based on the time of day, so they will always reinforce.

Older transform cards always enter on the front side, so they only reinforce creatures on the from side.

It might be good to give the legacy worls day/nightbound too?
