ANSWERS

  1. Are there any plans to add more Single Player Events? It seems that there are less and less entries every week. This week the ratio went so far off that there were 18 PVP event slots to just 2 PVE ones.
Answer: Thank you for your feedback. We usually keep the weekly event schedule balanced with PvP and PvE events. By the way have you checked out the event You've Found an Entrance yet?

  2. Are there plans for a new coalition PVE?
Answer: Thank you for your interest! PvE events in general take a bit longer in terms of Design and also require a longer testing phase. With the 2 bigger collections Innistrad: Midnight Hunt (MID) and Innistrad: Crimson Vow (VOW) being released relatively close to each other, there was not much time left for a new PvE event this time. But we will share your interest with the team. Thanks again.

  3. Will we see the light of vanguard crafting? :D
Answer: Thank you for your question. There are no plans for that right now, but it seems to be an interesting idea to make the Vanguard Cards more accessible. But it definitely would need more internal discussions.

  4. Any old PW rebalancing planned?
Answer: There are no concrete plans for this for the near future. If you could pick 3 Planeswalkers, which ones would you like to see rebalanced?

  5. The Colors of Magic event that just finished today (11-10-21) gave out Chandra Anthology packs to folks who finished in the top 50. These are great packs with very good drop rates. Thank you for that. Colors of Magic was developed as the event that accompanied the PMA sets, of which the first was red. (Very creative event by the way. It takes some getting used to, but I really like how you completely changed how the game works during this event. Makes for some very interesting and unusual game play. Thank you again.)
But with the release of the black PMA set, I was hoping that the rewards would be modified to give out Liliana Anthology packs to top finishers. You have told us you plan to release a PMA set for each color, so I figured that the Colors of Magic event (notice that Colors is plural) would have its prizes change based on what is the most recent PMA release. And once they are all released, then it could switch up every few times between the various colors.
I for one am curious about the cards you would include in a Liliana Anthology pack and would get some joy out of seeing that, just like I enjoyed the thought you all put into including the cards in Chandra's Anthology pack. But there are also gameplay reasons for updating the prizes. Several of the cards in the Chandra Anthology packs are no longer standard legal. To be clear, I'm not asking you to change the cards in the Chandra packs. Those were created in a moment in time, and stuff rotating out of standard is inevitable. But given that you just introduced another PMA set, there's a very natural way for you to update the prizes to give out standard cards.
Answer: Thank you for your detailed feedback. This is much appreciated. It seems to be a logical continuation adding similar Boosters for the other colors as a reward. So far there are no plans for this, but we can share that the team is focused on the Puzzle Masters (PMA) collection right now.

  6. In response to last month's q&a:  Hello, some time ago you mentioned a potential to see a draft format in puzzle quest.  Is this still in the works?  Will we see a draft format in the future?  Thanks!
Answer: The Game Design team has already come up with some ideas for this and we feel that the community would support this format, too. Taking the opportunity here and answer with a question: What would be most exciting for you about this format?
My answer I suppose would be something like the limited draft format that is available in mtgo and mtga.  I like the concept of opening boosters, picking and passing, building a deck with the chosen cards, then playing the tournament for rewards and finally keeping the cards pulled from the packs.  Others in the community also suggested additional formats that were lower in cost where you do not ultimately keep the cards drafted but play a tournament with the drafted cards for rewards. Thanks for all that you do.
Answer: Thank you for sticking around and following up here on our question. We will share your idea with the Game Design team!

    1. What is the future of the tier system? It has been outdated almost since it’s creation and creates unbalanced gameplay between veteran and other players?

    2. Are we ever getting new coalition PVE?

Hey. I was a good boy and updated the right time. So where's my 2000?

The coalition events : Harvesttide, A timeless voyage, Rise of adventure and probably others. The objectives on the upper node force the players to run weak decks. Then we get  full force opponents from the bottom node. But that's random, not every battle. So is it fair that some players get a harder opponents and some not/ more or less harder opponents.  Is it fair at all?

There's a big amount of PWs and it's hard to find one you need quickly inside the nodes. I don't like the favorite decks system much. Could we have a choose by name menu?

I agree that PvP events should be decks vs decks for the same node. This is a very big frustration for competitive players. And frustrated players tend to quit.

I've been playing 5 years and have about 10 million runes saved up. I know that many others have more than me. Will we ever be able to use them for something other than leveling PWs? I know that when I see that a given reward is runes I don't bother with it. Unlike in the beginning when I would play for endless hours to earn the runes to level my first Bolas PW etc.

Booster crafting: thank you. It would be nice to be able to craft the "exclusive" cards from past sets after new sets drop.

I know that your work is never done. Thanks for running this game for us.

You can do this now! Once a new set drops, the exclusives from the previous most recent set enter the crafting pool and packs. Unless you meant Vanguards, which are never craftable.

Hasn’t this always been the case? They become craftable and they are available in packs when the new set drops?

correct, ever since crafting came along. I figured I would just clarify it in case a newer player didn't know.

This is something that I've asked before but Rebecca can't comment on. I call this INTRA node battle (only opponents from within the same node) vs INTER node battle (also opponents from other nodes).
She claims it should always be INTRA, but this is definitely not the case.
So I agree, the event should stipulate in the rules if the event will be Inter or INTRA node.

It is definitely not INTRA. I always thought it was purposely swapped to take advantage of opposing perma supports on the events which swap the perma supports. There is one event which I’m pretty sure does that. The one with the humans on top (they all blur with names for me).

Is legacy ever going to get fixed. I'm tired of losing to decks that go infinite and the timer doesn't even stop it. Certain cards like omniscience, Nissa's renewal, rishkars expertise need rebalancing or banned.

How about answering the questions submitted in October first, before starting a new thread? I see questions being repeated over and over again. Last time @Oktagon_Support, you said that questions will be answered in the same thread. Well, guess what? That thread has been closed with ZERO answers in it. I'm not going to bother anymore with my questions... *cough* rare vanguards, standard filter, etc. *cough*

Legacy is fine. It SHOULD be kill.them turn 1 or 2 or be killed turn 1 or 2. What they need is modern T.G or a modern/ block constructed T.o.t.P

Hence my question: are there plans to change the event rewards from Chanda packs to Liliana packs (and make corresponding changes as future PMA sets are released?

And once all the PMA sets have been released, do you plan to alternate the packs given out as part of the Colors of Magic event?

Thanks for making a great game.

Easy for people who can build decks that have the collection to do so. I started around zendikar rising so my collection is way behind everyone else. Meaning I need to be way luckier than those who have been playing a long time. Its not easy to get those older cards through crafting either because I have a 1 in like 290 chance of pulling the card i need.

Exactly my point. We need a block constructed/ modern Training grounds and TotP

Will we ever get to craft vanguards?
