Question about covers with multiple powers

Lets say I win a Spiderman classic cover with blue yellow and purple powers, but I only want to level MY Spiderman with the blue and yellow, not the purple. Is this possible? I'm trying to decide how to place in the 3* tourney.

    What you actually win is three covers, one of each colour. So you can add them all to your current one.

    You receive separate cover for each skill, so you can choose which to use to train your character

    The covers you will will go into your rewards cache. Then you can choose to train them into your character from the roster/skill screen. You are not forced to use everything you acquire and they are not automatically applied to your existing characters.
