I love it. The meta battle! And each meta member cannot embrace the others.
Kitty would be the slowest of the three, however he can take support on that boosted logan.
Polaris will appear again in all tiers, and so do the indirect fourth meta member, BRB.

About the another question, ace5 is arguably the worst stunner. He can accumulate turns being stunned, but he drains blue AP: the blue he is matching actually is like losing the option of using a color.

mmmmmmHmmmmmmm. Love me some Polaris boost week. Nice of them to stagger the boosts of BRB and Grocket opposite of Kitty and Polaris. Two weeks of them all being boosted would have been awful for PvP though great for PvE.

I wonder if I should start the nerf Polaris thread now of just wait.
It was nice of them to skip Polaris week in PvP with off season events.

Alternatively it’s like he is auto-casting it every turn, which you would probably be doing anyway if it were an active power.

I've found Iceman's 5* stun tricky to keep rolling but if you can get it to work it is pretty good.
All of this will be moot though because surely if we do get a 5* Gamora she will have to have the best stun in the game!

So far, most of the characters that had 4* version before getting 5* version had been pretty bad.

    Carnage
    Kingpin
    Iceman
    Captain marvel
    Prof X
    Cyclops
    Ghost Rider
    Starlord
    Wasp

Out of this list, Iceman and Prof X are probably the better version. Carnage is somewhere in the middle I think.

Hopefully, it's neither Venom nor Gamora. If it's Void, it should be pretty meta.

Starlord is a weird one, because he came out with his 3* at the same time during that brief window when it seemed there was a desire to have the trophy version and the attainable version in the sunset days of the 3* tier. He is pretty much a hyper-leveld 3* since their powers are identical minus some numbers changes.

Some of those others are debatable. I'd say Ghost Rider RR is probably overall superior to Johnny Blaze, but I wish their black powers were reversed. Robbie would be a nightmare with 4* Penance Stare.

Similarly I'll go to bat for Carbage being better than most people think, and I think we'll see a reevaluation of Sighclops once Shang-Chi starts to proliferate a little more.

Also is 4* Star-Lord actually that good? He was the butt of many a joke as when we used to get those Marvel interviews with new releases they would always "pair well with Star-Lord". I guess with the hyper level version we are used to seeing in Welcome to SHIELD has given him a new found respect in the game but from a player perspective I could take or leave either of them.

There is a crucial difference: an active power is free to casting when the player wants, and that trait is what really makes a power good(at least when talking about stunning)

OK so 5* Gamora does not have the best stun...

Have we maybe overlooked the stunningness that is Talos mighty stick?

Sure, but this is a 3-AP stun that won't trigger anybody's "react to something getting fired off" abilities. I think it obviously works best if you have someone with targeted tile destruction to do it on demand, that's why i said it's hard to put on this same list with the active stuns, but it's a pretty effective one just the same.

After playing with a 574 Okoye this week I’ve learned that if this was always the case with a 550 Okoye I’d have either A) Quit the game or B.) Killed myself .  This is the most boring , uneventful, lack of challenge week in the year . My play time has been cut in half this week , I’m not cut out to play for speed . Every battle is like the first 3 PvE nodes . It’s like playing against a SCL 4 level roster in PvP with a meta 5 team . I hope I never see her and Polaris boosted again , especially in the same week .

You don't have to play Okoye. I like to have my playing time reduced sometimes, but I also enjoy going slower and not spend any health packs for example.

I thought I never see what I saw, but I saw many apoc okoye teams or apoc kitty.
    Not a single logan.
    And the hulkoye team comeback.
I saw some apoc electro too.

I’ve been running and seeing Kitty Logan in slice one, I kind of like it.

My Logan is 3/3/2 so I haven't risked him in PVP but I did use that duo in PVE. I have seen Logan a few times and must admit I pounced on those battles. Also in slice one.

Don't forget Okoye adds her boost to 3* Court Death (the 5* Thanos stuns first so she won't boost him).  If you're looking for the fastest possible PvE autopilot team this week it's Okoye/Hulk/3* Thanos.

Alternatively with a boosted apocalypse + Thano5 + Mutant (OML probably? I typically run Onslaught though)  you can boost the 5* CD.

Sure!  That's just not nearly as dumb/ridiculous though.  With boosted Okoye + Hulk + 3* Thanos, you just match TU tiles, let Hulk go off for 40k a turn, then get a 40k court death for each guy you kill.

It's probably not quite as fast as whatever the PvE specialists use these days, but it's about as fast as it gets if you'd prefer not to think at all.

You have to put down shared strength first, but the damage is right around 40k with the 5* version as well.  Not nearly as mindless though, it’s true.

In 4* land, Polaris/R4G is pretty high up there in terms of the meta teams, and Mantis can single-handedly, willingly, easily, and might I add, passively, stun-lock them on turn 2. So I think Mantis has to at least be in the "Best Stunner" conversation. Not that the others that have been mentioned are bad, but Mantis has to at least be considered.

As for the boosts, though, it is a very rich boosted meta vs boosted meta pvp, one in which I have skipped  a lot of teams that I know I have no chance of beating. But having Juggs, Polaris, and Medusa boosted at the same time just means that I can at least hang with some of the undercovered 5*s I see.
