Better Cross-Platform/Device Sync Capabilities

I was pretty disappointed that Facebook is the only way (as far as I can tell) to sync across my devices. Even though I have an Android phone and an Android tablet, both signed into my Google account, I don't get cross-device sync without linking to my Facebook account as well.

I'd like to see Google+ and other services as potential sync options, so that I don't need to sync with two accounts (as I'm already logged into my Google account on my phone at all times). Additionally, I'd like to see the Steam version of the game sync with whatever options are available, so that I can play on my PC and continue on my phone when I leave home.
