No vote this year for FF anniversary?

Looks like a change from the usual method, haven’t we normally had an in game vote by now?

    According to Reddit, one of the banes of human existence so take it for what it’s worth, they used the summer survey but switched a character.

    I think it was the survey from when it was aprox. the puzzle trivia when they gave shard captains and the what if peggy skin.

    Also I heard rumours thst the FS is gonna have a real classic character.

    I've been surprised there hasn't been more anniversary chatter on the forum. I don't think that I've seen a single thread on the upcoming anniversary next week.   We'll usually get a store with the top three 5-stars from the survey, but I'd love to see multiple stores with different sets of classic 5-stars to help get them champed.  Otherwise, it will just be more levels on Okoye and Apocalypses (which I'm ok with too).

    Yeah I’ve seen the rumoured three. Gutted but I can save some pulls for other vaults I suppose. I was just hoping there would be a poll again. Or better still 500 shards of your choice! Or build your own vault.

    The first anniversary was like a huge crazy awesome blowout party with tons of free stuff and random fun events, but every anniversary since has been mostly just a normal week. 

    Every year people show up on the forum to complain that anniversary is lame...I think it's time we all stop expecting the first anniversary to come back, and start expecting the anniversary to mostly be a normal week.

    Anniversary seems to be the only time costumes become available again, and there are opportunities to catch the Limited characters in Vaults. Being the first anniversary with Shards in the game in a big way might make for some more interesting options I suppose.

    People have gotten used to the Anniversary offers being underwhelming. Unless, of course, you're really looking forward to putting some levels on the Limited characters. As I recall, I put a ton of levels on my Dino last year.
    And then never used the character.

    I didn't know they can even see special stores. So, this year Anniversary store consists of A/B/C but I was looking forward to X/Y/Z. However, I'm happy to see C because I would like more covers. 

    Unannounced rewards recently seem to be better than announced ones. For example, this year(?) they added extra milestones which surprised a lot of players.

    On the other side of business, it seem they are trying to increase their online presence. For example, they are holding monthly forum contest and they are also linking up with popular youtubers or influencers occasionally for special events. These might not look like something that benefits the players directly (in terms of getting free cps/hps/shards etc), but it sort of implies that they are interested in keeping the game running.

    Another 13 covers for Dino to be champ maxxed, might even be this year.

    There might be more interesting stuff on Christmas Holidays than on anniversary. Last year they introduced milestones and puzzle gauntlet if I remember correctly.

    I’ve never felt that way, I can’t remember if I was playing on the first anniversary. 2340 days played. Sure they scaled back how many tokens you got which was disappointing but other than that I’ve never had the feeling it was a normal week. 

    I did like the poll and the thought of dream you might be influential in the vault but seems not this year. Not a big deal because I might not have liked what then public went for anyway.

    I just always saw it as Devil Dinosaur week and not much else.
    Maybe I bought something on discount once, but I never looked forward to it.

    Do we know if the Anniversary event will be double ISO? We haven't had that in a long time. Used to come around at least 2x a year.

    I wouldn't say "every Anniversary is lame", but I would say they've been going downhill. One year I cleaned out the HP vault like 2.5 times (resetting to continue chasing better rewards). The next year I don't think I did it once.

    And some years have definitely been better than others. The Raid event was kinda hit or miss, and never got polished into a full game event. Some of the special Anniversary characters have been hit or miss. Interesting gimmicky stuff (Gwenpool, 5-star Deadpool, Taskmaster) works, big theme years (the X-Men year where we got Rogue, Gambit, then Nightcrawler all around Anniversary) are cool, but then one year we just got Spider-Man 2099. I love him, both mechanically and as a character addition, but he didn't really strike as an interesting character for the sake of celebrating Anniversary, you know?

    As for this year.... there's nothing to talk about, yet. I'm hoping the vault is more interesting. I'd love to see more Supports in general (actual new supports are a pipe dream, but puzzle modes and more support tokens would be awesome). I'd love to see a new event. Back to back bosses makes me think a new boss event is less likely. But a full event for the newer AIM goons or Sentinels could be neat. 

    But right now I haven't posted anything on the forums because there's not really anything to post about. Still waiting on enough news to have something to talk about.

    Last year double ISO came during anniversary and Christmas. I'm hoping for the same this year.

    Double iso would be very welcome! I have nearly finished champing the whole 4* tier and it would be nice to be able to start churning some 2's on my farm I have ready to champ and also bring up some of 3 stragglers also ready to go.

    Last year sucked because they changed how events gave out Anniversary tokens so I don't think that I ever came close to cleaning out my Anny vault. I'm hoping that they put shards in the vault this year. I'm almost at 70k hp right now and if it's the same usual stuff then I may not even buy a 10 pack, but if there are 5* shards in the vault then I'll probably spend a decent amount of hp.
