I've been have loads of fun with the following teams:

Juggernaut/Quicksilver/Magneto
Juggs tanks on all but black and purple. Match as much blue as possible, then green, then whatever black and purple you stumble across. Quicksilver moves blue around the board for matches while Magneto converts tiles to blue to feed Quicksilver's passive and keeps Juggs in front to tank.

Polaris/Scarlet Witch/Bullseye
Pretty self-explanatory. Purple. Purple protect tiles everywhere. Then, eventually, nothing but protect tiles. Matches usually end before I can fire off Scarlet's purple or Bulleye's black or green.

I've been experimenting with Chavez/Hood, but haven't found a good 2* I like yet. Maybe I'll try Hawkeye as @TheRoadWarrior suggested.

There are definitely a few Polaris teams though a lot of Juggernaut, Strange, Magneto/Daken and Karnak, IM40, Ares oddly enough. Lots of teams using De4dpool as well, but I assume him and Strange only put out for defense. I’m not entirely sure the Polaris teams are not out there because everyone has her champed while the rest are haphazardly covered among players. Her partners are pretty slow to get going and easily countered. Frankly, I’m less sure how to approach Karnak and Juggernaut teams where I can’t power through with Grocket or exploit the AoE with BRB. Whatever, the meta has not yet settled though it would be interesting to see what would happen if given time to percolate.

Can’t go wrong with 2* Magneto or 2* Widow.

Against Juggs, possibly quake is an option to shut down his AoE? You'll need someone who can do damage, as you still have his other powers to deal with. Or a stunner, of which there are many.

I've been running Juggs/Strange/Thor to good effectiveness lately.

C4rol/SW/Daken are chuckles galore.
Ronin/SW/Hawkeye was also a fun team

I’ve been running jugg strange and daken but any 2* could slot in.
Edit *I also run d3adpool to get a cheap red to fire 

strange punishes you for firing powers

so far it’s the most effective combo I’ve found. Ran a couple Polaris teams but didn’t like them too much.

Nightcrawler/SWitch/Bullseye (someone else may work here too but his board control is strong)

Chase purple till you can Bamf! But wait until purple is the most prevalent color. You can use SWitch or Bullseye’s green to adjust what is on the board. Bamfinite ensues

I ran Silk/Spidey/Mags to a 1 and 1 record.

Spam purple early to have Mags put some blue on the board, stun with Spidey, and grab yellow for Silk to put more web tiles on the board. It wasn't long before I had the other team stun-locked. When I ran it first, i won with taking very little damage in return (which Silk healed), probably due to a favorable board, but then lost to a Chavez/Hood combo that stole my AP and critted me off the board fast. Still, I liked the concept so might try it again.

I finally settled on Karnak, Switch, and Magneto for anti everyone but Juggernaut and Karnak teams to very good success. I think I could take down a Karnak team with that set up if I could get enough blue, though just running Juggernaut against him would probably go better. Maybe I will try Juggs, Strange, Thor a couple of times against Karnak to see how it goes. A protect heavy team (Polaris, Switch, Bullseye maybe). would probably be better against Juggernaut.

I liked Chavez/Hood but they don't share enough covers and Hood has very few hp. Still, very good against a lot of Polaris teams, though slightly slower than Karnak.

If you want to run a high defense team to go after juggs then Polaris Falcon Bullseye is probably your best bet.
The defense tiles can easily snowball to mitigate the damage

Main Event/Switch/Hawkeye with +2 purple and +5 crit damage enhancement is another comedy team I like.

Anybody have an Alligator Loki based team? I only just champed him and don't have one I like yet.

If only a 2* made charged tiles. Aloki, Starlord, Thor might be interesting. Or Iron Fist if a black generator is preferred. As long as Aloki is champed he should make pink charged tiles for himself.

My teams have been 3 Star SW 2 Star Mags and 4 Star Karnak. SW builds up purple use magneto's purple to get blue for karnak.

IM40 RiRi and 2 Star Thor IM40 can use his recharge to power everyone up and you can use Thor's red to get yellow for IM40

I ended up grinding to 1200 with Chavez/Cyclops/Hawkeye just to wrap it up. It was fun for a bit!

Gonna start in 30 minutes, I do like the format and the potential creativity you can do with it.  

Pick a 4star, a 3star that helps them, then hope you have a 2star that can fit in. The last time I did this event the 2stars ended up needing a lot of healthpacks.  

IMHB. He's very fun. But needs a battery. Cycl3ps can sortof do it. M2gneto helps if you get enough pink to make some blue tiles.

C4rol H3lk D2ken  is an oldschool team that used to work well against r4g and gamora. Spec C4rol as 5 5 3. Try to get hulk to tank a hit or two and position him as number 3, so daken makes strikes before hulks black countdowns go off. for C4rol to boost.  

Mordok, Kamala / Ironfist and D2ken could work.  Put down mordoks blue and use cheap powers on allies to get it to fire.  

Obvious 4star spider character like SMIW / SM2099 / SpiderGwen to pair with sp3derman (if name allows).  

C4ge and 3star ironfist seem like a no brainer too.  

Vulture is a fun one. Serves as a good battery for a 3star once you get some black ap going.

I dusted off the old Wasp/Falcon combo to good effect. I have had fun with this re-visit to 4* and below land and didn't run a single Polaris team.
