How much ISO would you pay for a Legendary Token?

Most recently inspired by entrailbucket's recent comment about having spent around 2 million ISO on standard tokens when they were 500 ISO a pop, I raise the title question.

After breaking a hoard to champ Okoye, JJ, and IWCap in May 2018, I cracked 2 million ISO for the first time (and then spent a lot of that champing those three).  It wasn't until March 2020 that I first pulled myself over the 3 million mark.  Since then, I have gone completely post-ISO, now sitting at around 14.5 million ISO a year and a half later.  And I have literally nothing to do with it.

Would it be completely crazy to allow us to buy tokens with ISO?  What would you pay to do so?

Hahahahaha, so to be clear: that was not 2 million in one sitting, and 2 million is an estimate based on "before" and "after" values.  All told, I think I got 4 or 5 5* covers out of the reward cascades from those standard tokens.

They'd have to gate this somehow to stop new players from doing it, but it's a pretty great idea!

I have 35 million iso so I would pay...30 million iso for one token?  I'd want to keep some kind of cushion.

That's not a joke...here's the thing: short of some new feature that I doubt is going to show up at this point, we're *never* going to be able to do anything with all this iso, and it just keeps piling up.

So what's fair value for something that has absolutely no value?  If you offered me $1 for my trash, I'm probably not going to haggle over it.

I wouldn’t pay iso for basically a lottery ticket . I would pay for a cover , which they already offer us via money or CP. So either expand it to be bought with ISO,  or allow us to buy CP to purchase covers .

I farm so I'm iso starved. I have a great roster until I hit 5* land, but that's the trade-off I made. To answer the question, I wouldn't spend iso on an LL token even if I had the iso. @TheEyeDoctorsWife was on the money when she said it's just a lottery ticket. If they offered LL tokens for iso, I would scour the Worse Moment of the Day thread for all of the people who emptied their iso for an LL just to get Talos.

CP is on sale for $100 USD for 140. Occasionally there are better deals offered. You need a buy club but those are pretty easy to find if you’re on line.

I'd absolutely pay iso for a lottery ticket, because iso has zero value to me and a lottery ticket has some potential value.  Even a Talos cover is infinitely more useful than "completely useless."

If you're not post-iso, then the whole discussion doesn't make any sense to you.  However, if you hang around long enough, you will get to the post-iso state, because everyone eventually does.

I’ve never seen this offer in 3 years in the game . I also have never seen buy clubs in the game .

$100 = 140cp comes from 20 players buying Stark Salary in a temporary alliance, called the Buy Club. After that, they will return back to their original alliance. That's how they determine 140 cp = $100 usd, ignoring the 20,000hp.  :o

Is there anyone who farms with millions of iso? The moment I was deep in 4* land all of my iso dried up. I went from 1.5 million to barely scratching 350k before spending it to champ something.

Yes.  But setting up a farm is a huge iso expense that'll wipe out your reserves until it's up and running.  Once your farm is working though, it kicks out tons and tons of iso (that you don't really need anymore).

I had all the 3* maxed when champions were introduced, so they all hit 266 around the same time, and setting up that farm took like 6 months of grinding iso.

When I set up my 4* dupe farm it killed my iso for 2 years or more -- it was absolutely brutal.
