I use Boss Venom's board specifically for gathering AP. He can stay invisible as long as he wants!

Apox black will hit him invisible. Also if all tiles are special tiles doc ock tiles do not appear and is stunned immediately

You could just bring Gwenpool and use her green.  It gets around his invisibility. She is also useful for Doc Ock. She used to be my go to against this event and Apocalypse event. This time around I have found Colossus to be really useful too, use his blue to just remove Doc Ock's counter.  Funny, there is a bug where the removed tile does not refill and you can continue to play the match with a hole where that tile was.  Of course his match damage is so good and paired with Chavez crit city of course.  His blue powerreally provides enough control for this particular event.

This happened to me some time ago. I don't tile spam in this event against Venom anymore. I'm sure devs threw him in there just for spammers who mindlessly rush through events. I now keep at least 2 good teams for this event.

After this event, where I’m now a 4* player with some choices, I’m a little shocked that people don’t just spam BRB, Polaris, and Th4nos. I guess it was a little boring, but all the characters were weak to the winfinite. By the time I got to poor Venom, he could not place his first invisibility tile, so just sat there crying.

Because of our rosters we dont have too. Sure, we can. Sure, some do. But I, for example, just enjoyed my roster because I can. I used so many 4* fun characters this event without hindering my or alliance rewards. M.O.D.O.K., Elsa, Skrull, Venom, X-23, Wolfsbane, Silk, SM2099, Spider-Gwen, Morales, Riri, Hellcat, iron First, Luke Cage, Iceman, Valkyrie, Ant-Man, Domino, Jean Grey, Ghost... and so on. Stil some avaits for me to use. Maria, Mockinbird, Nova, Wasp, Gwenpool, Mordo etc.

I just use Thorkoye and Kitty. Kitty kills special tiles, Okoye destroys Doc Ock's invincible tile and Thor hits Venom if he goes invisible.
