Acererak doesn’t create zombie token when PW is damaged by Roiling Vortex [Investigating]

Roiling vortex does 2 damage to me every turn. When Acererak the Archlich is on the board, it’s supposed to create a zombie token when I lose life on my turn but it doesn’t trigger with Roiling Vortex. 

Using Bolas the Ravager as planeswalker, testing in Training Grounds.
