The Mystery of Muir Island ???

Hi all 

This should possibly go to the events thread BUT no one seems to know about it so I wanted to get a wider audience.

A friend of mine started up his MPQ after a long time away and originally had only dabbled in the game. In the last week or so he has been playing consistently and then said to me… how did you go in The Muir Island event?

I said… in the what?? 

“Muir island… and when I finished in the top 10 of that next was the X-mansion and I finished top 5….” He replied…

So I googled and researched and asked my alliance members and whoever else I could about “Muir Island”

The ONLY reference I could find was a post where the guy was flamed into nonexistence with people saying you have the wrong game and whatcha talkin about Muir Island never heard of it!

So I have a theory or 2 but has anyone who has been around like me know what it is

    I know it's far from April fools, but have you considered the option that he just messed with you?

    It’s a new event, only available when you start the game. It got added a couple of months ago, along with some others (Meet the X-Men, First Assignment).

    Indeed, it's the first Event you can play before the Events tab is unlocked.
    If I remember correctly you get a bunch of 1*, HP and a few 2* to get you started.
    The X-Mansion Event comes next: it is a proper Event with 24 hour rounds, giving 2*, HP and covers for Kamala, but with only 10 players.
