Here’s eight on my wishlist, some already mentioned above:
1. Reorder the sets in CARD SET view so the newest sets are always at the top – Origins followed by standard. New non-standard sets can be next after the standard ones. That tiny little scroll down is really starting to irritate! Sure, a standard filter would be great too.
2. Remove duplicate cards from the same packs. I never again want to open a pack and find two of the same card, whether I paid cash, gold, won it in event, or got it as a daily reward. Can’t be too hard to code for that.
3. Bump up the HP and mana bonuses on the five Origins PWs to make them more usable/competitive. I’d suggest +4/+3/+2 (with +4 for their colour) instead of +1/+3/+1. Get all the HPs to 100. They deserve a makeover.
4. Booster crafting. Make the current new set craftable. Make rare vanguards craftable – as someone already said, why on earth would I chance 120 pinkies for a dupe?
5. Make all the PWs available for sale. What’s the benefit to Oktagon to having these on a slow rotation? Presumably pushing cash sales of the newer ones.
6. Runes. Oh runes. I have millions of them. So does anyone who’s been playing for any length of time. I remember grifting so hard for runes when I started out, now I’m drowning. They need to have another use because they’re currently just a negative reward. I’d suggest use for booster crafting. This might even encourage players to take up VIP so they can get access to masterpiece cards. It might even get me back to VIP.
7. Get rid of terrible optional bonus conditions in PvP events. “Win with only Common, Uncommon, and Rare Cards”? Not if my opponent has filled their deck with mythics and masterpieces. If it’s possible to lock out Humans from an event, then it must be possible to lock out Ms and MPs? I know this is about deck building ability, but there has to be a level playing field. Also get rid of the “Win with a Beginner, Expert or Master Deck” objective from Awakened Inferno for similar reasons. Don’t think I’ve ever played against one. I’m sure there are plenty of these objectives that could be added to the list.
8. Poor rewards for events vs the amount of games required. I’m looking at Nodes of Power right now and wondering whether I can be bothered playing 15 matches minimum to get to 100 ribbons and be “rewarded” with 2700 runes and two standard boosters. If I scrap away for THREE DAYS I might finish in the top 5 and win another standard booster, a dupe rare, and 20 jewels.
