Noticeable lag when starting new battles post 5.1 release

Hi Support Team,
Post latest update and 5.1 data push, game hangs for considerable amount of time when battle is initiated. More pronounced against newer PW like Kasmina and Tibalt.
Effectively everything is sitting in inactive state with grayed out overlay on the screen. Can go for up to 20 seconds. It eventually unfreezes and battle can start, but this is definitely a new annoyance.Few other screens are now lagging as well, is. when card completes Basic, Master decks and deck icon is clicked.
Feel like additional time-expensive steps were added to the start up sequence and now latency is causing problems...

    Feels like everything is a little slower: starting the game, opening the vault, etc. I have nothing to corroborate that though, just the seat-of-the-pants meter.

    - Make sure you have updated the latest version of the game.
    - Make sure you have updated the latest version of the operating system for your device.
    - Try restarting the device you are using, if you are running late.
    - Make sure you are using a stable and secure internet connection.
    - Try to clear your device's cache and data.
    - Try to access the game through different networks.
    - Try to access the game using your mobile data connection.
    - Try to uninstall and reinstall the game.
    If the problem persists, please let me know and I will ask the team to investigate further.
