Addicted... but burnt out?

I wonder if anyone else experiences this.

I find myself opening the game, looking around at the events... but deciding not to do anything because you just really do not feel like it. I do it probably 15 times a day... sometimes I actually play, but more often than not I just close the game.

  • People are for sure getting burnt out. We've had 3 people leave my alliance this week. They were all heavy point contributors. They didnt leave for a new one (as we get cover rewards on every event) they actually just quit the game. I can understand why. The season format is stressful and its driven up top 10 and top 50 placement for people struggling to get 3 stars.

To your point about logging in and not playing. I think that if there was something you could do that was either:

    1. not a pve grind for 20 iso a fight
    2. not a pvp grind where winning raises your rating to the point that you cant win anymore and you'll likely just lose those points in an attack when you are gone anyway........
  • Seriously, **** the season format. Quit my alliance and don't give a **** about the covers any more. (I was trying to collect all of them.) But they keep churning out more and not giving breaks in between, that's too much for a video game.

I miss one event and the new covers, and I feel like I don't need to keep up any more. It's very refreshing. I have played for 172 days, not missing a single day until Season 2 started. I thought **** it. Nice weather and all. I'll start playing Puzzle Quest 2 again.

yeah you want to talk about not communicating issues, stealth changes, low CS, and high cost of HP ...

A lot of people ragequit after a while into this game.... Hardly the first occurrence.

Ick. Bad timing on that one.
  • I definitely feel like you. The game feels like a chore lately. I think the last Daken pvp was the pvp I enjoyed the least in my 5 months with the game. Playing after 700-800 is like taking a step forward and 2 steps back. Getting hit by players with 400-500 less than points for 40+ is especially disheartening. Last week I was feeling OK; tired by all the tinykitty changes in the game, but I was still holding. In last week's LRs I played way more than I usually do. Earned 14-15 heroics for 1 *** (it was like Christmas) and almost 30k ISO. This week I played in 3 LRs and I didn't get to 100 in 2 of them. And now, after all the tinykitty pvp of last season (who gives a &@$% about Loki/Rags/Doom), they decide to hook us with the good stuff starting with C.Mags. But is it just before they nerf him, or will they deal with him after summer? No one knows and I think stuff like that is why I feel so tired.

    Not knowing
    - when the servers will go down for an update
    - when OP heroes will finally be nerfed to stop seeing the same team again and again (after the Spiderman nerf, 80% of the attacks I got in Daken pvp had C.Mags. Fix your stupid game!!!!)
    - when to join an event to avoid placing in brackets that need 1000+ for a top 10
    - if 1000 points are enough for a top 10 in PvPs that end 7am for me.
    - if an attack will bypass a shield and take 40 points away in the final hour of an event

So yeah, I am burned out, but it's mostly because I am so tired of not knowing the rules of the game.
