really this is just the next logical step. this is a game that rewards you for playing it less, so obviously, they're just scaling server availability based on user activity.

it's your fault for wanting to play more than once a week. that's right, this one is on you, dear reader.

It does seem a bit odd to have a game where they want you to grind, and where timing is key, have repeated server issues.

Just making me feel better about playing less I guess.

It's always fun to see the spike in "WHO IS ONLINE" section during the outages. Hidy ho everyone! This is part of their master plan to monetize the forums--all those spam ads are secretly from D3 /conspiracytheory

I can't get in, but other 5D members can and some of them can even play the PVP and PVE. Looks like a bunch of people are going to get screwed out of rewards again because they were in the middle of their pushes for top spots.

well i was in when it started, did 3 pvp matches and no new enemies showed up in the queue, so they event was completely greyed out for me. I imagine it's probably the same for them?

ah great, another day, another server issue when I wanted to grind an event, another day that there isn't remotely a chance that they will compensate us for their servers sucking despite pretty much any other big free to play game would send out some sort of compensation bonus (is it really that hard to go... sorry our servers were down, here have a heroic token)... Maybe I am just entitled but between the server issues, and their seemingly ongoing efforts to milk people out of every nickel and dime with poor justifications (making people unable to buy more slots without spending money early on is a good thing because it makes it more dynamic for the players to buy a 3 pack of slots instead of just letting them buy 1 and actually use that shiny new character they just got... using new characters isn't dynamic it's boring, new slots that is where the awesome comes in) is making it harder and harder to justify even playing the game anymore... a game that at one point I tried to get my friends into.... but it's skewed towards new players so much anymore... bleh...

either way... hopefully the servers come back soon, I was planning on getting 1.1k for my alliance in this event, but with the issues I will likely just get 600 or so... assuming the servers come up soon, as if they don't come back soon I likely won't even bother as everyone will be scrambling to get points and the game will become nearly unplayable as everyone will just be attacking each other... as it's always so fun to get attacked 1-3 times for every match you play and just spin your wheels and get no where while playing

Same for me and the rankings were unreachable too. I restarted the app, got empty tabs, restarted again, no connection.

Hey, cut them some slack, D3 is obviously stressing their servers testing the new screen art and sound effects for the R54 patch. These are supremely important fixes people!

Ugh I actually woke up early (5am west coast) to get a clear in with 14 hours left in the PvE. What a joke. A game that requires you to play during very specific time windows to be competitive and then server crashes during said time frame.

It's no wonder half my alliance has quit since end of season 1. And g0ddammit it pisses me off when they tell me to check MY internet connection!!! Man the **** up D3 and just say " technical difficulties" or something. *facepalm*
