Softlock occurred while triggering Ranar the Ever-Watchful [Investigating]

I was playing the Planechasing Fblthp event earlier today when I encountered a bug that softlocked the game on me.  I was in the top node.  On my side of the field, I had Esika, God of the Tree, Ranar the Ever-Watchful and a Sage of the Beyond.  I broke two of my Foretell tokens' shields, triggering Ranar's ability that creates White and Black Spirit tokens and asking me if I wanted to replace one of my creatures with one.  I chose not to replace a creature, and the game proceeded to softlock on me.  I had to manually close out the game client, resulting in a loss.
