Kaldheim Mythic/Masterpiece Chase Cards

I have enough jewels to buy out an elite pack, meaning I can get any one card with some investment.  The problem is I dont know what to target.  I dont see any obvious must have cards (like Song of Creation) other than maybe Dead of Winter.
What are people's chase cards for this set?
If there isnt a must have card, which elite pack would be best to invest in overall for Kaldheim?  Now that the second one is out I imagine we can infer what would be in the third pack.  Saving for the next set of cards isnt an option in this case, Ive already done that. I'm also not interested in waiting until I can craft mythics.

    IMHO

The Prismatic Bridge - I like herald mechanic at all. (owned)

Koma, Cosmos Serpent - populate 4 times per turn (not owned)

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider - fun with sagas (owned)

I dont think Ive ever used a populate card.  Herald looks interesting, but I havent had a chance to play with the mechanic.  I happen to own Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, so I wouldnt have to chase that one.  Something to think about for sure.

Herald supports make Gods. Gods are tokens and you can easily populate them. Picture shows how it looks when you combine all three mechanics together - proliferate + populate + herald

The Prismatic Bridge, this is a big one, I have been running this a lot with the mox ruby, in some decks that do not even have that may red cards in it. I tend to stack with a couple of the ultimatums so the ruby does not get wasted with walkers that do not have red.

The world tree is really fun as well, it tends to work very well with that green conversion insanity that happens.

I also tend to like the equipment, but that is because I have the stoneforge mystic. So getting the equipment and the god out afterwards is usually pretty easy.

But it all depends on your what cards you have.

I was told today that Sarulf is a one-wolf wrecking machine and should be acquired at all costs.

Just took a look at that card, I can see it as a must have lock down card. It's likely in the Dead of Winter pack as well. That might be what I target. Could still go deep into another elite pack if more cards get discussed.

Beware. Dead of Winter is not as powerful as advertised in its text.

I saw it in the bug forum. Even if the text gets change to act like it behaves it's still really good, just not stupidly good like it reads.

sarulf provides green with a much needed way to controll the field. Having a board wipe on a stick  on upkeep is gamebreaking!

I have Koma and it's pretty cool. It's probably a bug, but for now you don't even have to destroy your token stack to trigger the disable effect.

    Update...

Koma + Song of WorldSoul + any Herald (Prismatic Bridge) is brutal

For Foretell builds = Pyro + Training grounds + Alrund's Epiphany + Korvold

For Snow builds = Icebreaker Kraken + Thassa

    AllinAll Prismatic Bridge is TOP

    Special thanx: The World Tree

Icebreaker Kraken and Thassa is a ton of fun.  Full board lock down and a ton of snow gems.

Training grounds doesn't do anything for foretell does it?

@andrewvanmarle - 😂 I think it is the blue support from Ikoria that is referred to.

Edit - oh you might have gotten that. I think TG triggers Pyros goggles at the beginning of your turn and that enables you to put a foretell gem on the board which Korvold then triggers giving you a free 12/12 illusion bird and 3 extra swaps every round.

    This!

Plus Training grounds card triggers first and destroys 2 activated gems at the beginning of your turn and THEN Pyro makes 3 new activated gems.

With those extra swaps you have enough time to destroy remaing gems if you want.

    Ashiok2 control deck f.e.

@andrewvanmarle yes actually you're right I just wrote full combo from my build.
