Scientific Method - 8  AP

McCoy's experiments set in motion a dangerous chain reaction, proving that doing things the right way isn't the same as doing the right things. Create 2 4-turn Red Countdown tiles that create 1 strength 5 Black or Green Attack tile each turn. When this Countdown expires, stun a random target for 1 turn.

(PASSIVE) If a friendly match includes a friendly special tile, gain 1 additional AP. (Max level strength 9 tile)

• Level 2: Gain 2 additional AP.
• Level 3: Countdown tiles create 2 Black or Green Attack tiles each turn.
• Level 4: Stun a random target for 2 turns.
• Level 5: Create 3 Black or Green Attack tiles each turn. Gain 3 additional AP.

Bleeding Edge -  PASSIVE

(PASSIVE) McCoy employs brutal techniques sacrificing himself and others in the name of science. Friendly Attack tiles deal 10% less damage, but Beast's match damage is increased by 14% for every Black AP you have. Whenever an enemy matches a friendly special tile, Beast creates 1 strength 15 Black Protect tile (Max level strength 29 tile)

• Level 2: Friendly attack tiles deal 8% less damage. Create 2 Protect tiles.
• Level 3: Match damage is increased by 23% and friendly Attack tiles deal 5% less damage. Create 21 strength Protect tiles. (Max level strength 40 tile)
• Level 4: Match damage is increased by 35%.
• Level 5: Match damage is increased by 57%. Create 3 Protect tiles.

Blinded With Science - 9  AP

Beast shows no mercy to the weak, bombarding the enemy with every tool at his disposal. Deals 259 damage to the enemy team and converts 2 basic tiles to Blue Charged tiles. (Max level 505 damage)

• Level 2: Convert 3 basic tiles to Blue Charged tiles.
• Level 3: Deal 342 damage to the enemy team. (Max level 667 damage)
• Level 4: Convert 4 basic tiles to Blue Charged tiles.
• Level 5: Deal 574 damage to the enemy team. (Max level 1118 damage)

Instead of nerfing the Polaris meta, let’s just double down on it instead. I like it! (No I’m not being sarcastic). Seems like he could be a beast (pun intended).

There's nothing wrong with Polaris.  She's easy to beat.

Am I reading this right... If it stacks like sighclops does then that's 1,710% increase for 30 black ap, that means his blue match damage would be 145,350 per tile

It's only 1453. 

57%*30*85=1453.

Edit: I went back and looked at how America Chavez's match damage is calculated because they boost their own damage exactly the same way.

So a blue match-3 with 30 black ap gives

85 * 3 * (1+ (30*57%)) = 4615.5

That's not how sighclops works, his is capped out at 300%, and maybe there is something similar here but again not mentioned in the release notes

Question.  For his blue once championed at level 5 will give 3 attack tiles that due 9 damage?  Then those attack tiles will be reduced by 5% because of his black.

the passive on his blue is awesome, but the active is only to activate his passive.  

For his black I do want to see his match damage with 30 black.

his green looks weak.

Looks fun. Special tiles seem weak but I guess they're just there to produce AP. 

Will the blue (and black) only turn existing basic green/black into specials or any color tiles?

And in some serious question news: when are we getting the "Deal % damage for every special tile on the board" characters. Or "Destroy every special tile".

2* Magneto could do that already, and he's even better. Buy 1 (destroy special tile) get 2 free (basic and teamup tile).

What if Beast is actually a "replacement" for Polaris and they are planning to nerf her... 

Instead of getting 3 more special tiles on the board, you get 3 ap in return and AI is the one controlling how much you can spam special tiles.

The oldest character without a feeder is Mister Sinister. The oldest mutant without a feeder is Havok. Being both a villain and a mutant, Apocalypse would fit best.

Well he is the mind behind infinite apocalypse army. They are close.
He looks real good of course. A real beast for to conquer battles in time(keyword: in time. Not like the broken meta couple AoE).

By the fact he can pair well with any partner using special tiles, even Nico. I think he is funny to play and with polaris a good character to try scl10 for 4* players. 
My guess is his shield training will be not hard.

What’s really interesting there is he has VERY good chances of feeding Apocalypse.
