German translation Scrapheap Scrounger

The german translation for Scrapheap Scrounger is off. While the english one says that Scrapheap Scrounger will be brought back from the graveyard when another creature gets killed, the german version says the killed creature itself will be brought back.

That's a significant difference.

On another note: Since I already found a few cards with false translations or omitted sentences on cards, is there a way to set the app on English? Would be easier for the forums to, because then I didn't have to google the english names of the cards I want to write about...

The app is in your phone's system language. If you change your system language to English, the app should get changed to English as well.
