Can we just get Across Ixalan every day instead of ZE

Or even Rising Tensions again. I don’t even care that I’m missing out on getting packs for standard. It’s just less grind, less useless rune rewards, and less obnoxious objectives. Either you try to get the objectives and take unacceptably frequent losses because you have to detune tour deck to get them; or you just give up on them and it takes an extra 3-5 games to grind through.

The past 3 times I’ve decided to pay for the ZE entry I’ve regretted it. It takes way too much time, the last time I got distracted by kids, and couldn’t even get back to it enough to get my entry fee back before it ended.

Yeah, ZE is terrible. I'd like to have a Training Grounds for the From the Vault sets so we aren't restricted to using them in only one event with very specific objectives.

None of the devs seem to care though. It’s pretty aggravating

Remember: The devs almost certainly simply work on the projects/tasks they are assigned. It's business decisions from D3 that most likely drive the macro course of this game.

I’m curious if they have statistics on how much ZE gets played vs Rising Tensions when it was active, or Totp now, I play Totp every day, but ZE less than once a week now, and usually regret it when I do jump in.

The difference between a developer and D3’s business directors is inside the black box as far as any players are concerned since the developers never interact with us here; or anywhere else for that matter.

ZE requires more in app time to complete which means higher active player number at any one point in time. if anything we will continue to see longer,  more tedious events in the future... there is no going back

Does that work if it’s so bad that most people don’t even play that event? I’ve stopped playing ZE, and a lot of other people say they have too. There’s certainly a middle ground that would give them playtime without people just tuning out. 4 players playing 20% longer doesn’t work out if 1/5 stops playing

Yeah, I play it maybe once a week, and the reasons I don't play it are in this order:
    1. It takes too long to complete
    2. The rewards aren't worth the time
    3. The event doesn't last long enough (starts when I go to bed)

I always wonder about how many people are actually playing this game and how they do it.
Its obvious the forums and big coalitions only make up a small percentage of total players, but how small?

Is it possible that even if 0 players on here every play ZE that there are enough players who do play it daily to make up for it with whatever metrics Okatagon and D3 are using?  If that is the case then I doubt there will be any significant changes going forward, for this event and for whatever event eventually replaces it.

I would look towards our (the forums) attempts to stack the dual decks events.  The only time that worked was when it was in a closed beta where the majority of the people participating where from the forums and/or one of the large coalitions.  We as an entity just isnt as large as we think.

Considering how little interaction or even notice this forums seem to get from the powers that be, why would anyone tune in?

Most concerns receive little if any attention and the questions they tackle in the Q&A are usually late and so cherry picked that they may as well just write the questions themselves

Across Ixalan... I remember the good old times, when we spent our time complaining about daily events. These days, all we do is complain about worse daily events 😁
