Body is 6 characters short error

I was commenting on a thread but I keep getting this error and it won't go away.  What can I do?

    How long was your reply? Presumably it was more than just a couple of characters.
    I'd try HTML buttons </> and see if there are any funny characters embedded in your reply. I've had that problem before where I accidentally inserted some invisible characters when cutting/pasting/quoting replies.

    It was a short reply.  I logged out of my profile and logged back in.  That seemed to do the trick.
