App Crashes When Screen Goes to Sleep

As title says, every time my screen goes to sleep my app hard crashes when I wake it back up.  This is new behavior with 4.6 update.  I'm on android 6.0. I have done a clean install of the game with the same issue.  This isnt the same as in the past where the app would reload.  If this app cant survive the screen going to sleep then it's unusable.

CRASHES AND SOFTLOCKS

• UID* - can be provided if needed
  

• What device was used when it happened? - Asus Zenpad, android version 6.0
  

• Is it related to a specific event (or another specific battle)? Or even another part of the game (when you purchase something, editing deck, entering in any of the screens, when you level up your Planeswalker, etc)? - No
  

• If it is in a battle, a list of all cards in the deck and possible interactions that might have happened.

• In this case, the more information the player gives to us, the better.

The 4.6.1 release seems to have fixed this issue.
