Not sure what it says about the devs but they sure like to be extra courteous this time of year. 

For 2020 we decided to break out a nerf to 5* Capt Marvel with zero notice.

No need to thank us just let us feast on your frustration. 
Hope everyone using her to get through cl10 in s2 PvE enjoyed our little surprise.
